I don't even own the game, it's my friends. I have only played it no more than once a week for 8 weeks, we just play for a few hours each time. :)

I suck at the game, I shoot at people all the time and they don't die. I shoot someone 5 times in the back and he didn't die! The most kills I get is about 20. I'm normally a backup, support guy, second guy on a tank or something.

I'm not sure if he's playing now, but I doubt he went to the gym so you can try to message him at Razorbak128, he's pretty good, or everyone we play with is really bad.
 
Rouen is actually really good too, there is a very action-packed center of the level, so much carnage goes on in there
 
I hope that because of the screwup they will give away the maps for free for a few days (and refund those of you who bought them of course). ;)
From what I've heard you almost have to jump through hoops to get something up on the marketplace, with Microsoft making sure it has as few bugs as possible. I want to know how something like this could have happened.
 
So, is there like a CAG COD3 night or something, because I'm still holding onto this game for a while, since it's the only online game I'm halfway decent, and I would love to play it with my fellow Cheap Asses.

Send me a friend request. It's between this and when my Gears of War was working that I played MP online. This is what I usually play. I still have my Xbox and this is one of the games that still work while I await my box/coffin that they are supposed to be sending me.

Yea I'm usually not any fighter type class. I like to be Medic. Last time I checked I was ranked 298 in the world as a medic :)
 
I'd definitely join a CAG COD3 night, no doubt.

I'm a BEAST with the sniper, I got 94 kills in a 60 minute match one time :)

I'm also good as an AMERICAN Rifleman, that gun is awesome, but the German Rifleman gun sucks :whistle2:(

I'm a Medic a lot too, mainly because I kill my own team for being insanely dump. We played yesterday 2-3ish pm and got kicked from about 4 games because they were that dumb. I'm a support shooting down the bad guys and three other team members for support would go right in front of me, so they all got shot. I was driving over the bad guys, always fun, and I honked to get the team members to move out of my way. One of them moved, the other just sat in the middle of the road, so I ran him over. There there were the times when I had to reload and some asshole would take my spot. My favorite are the people who just stand in the door when the rest of the team is trying to get out of the house. That lead to once blowing up half my team because they were all just standing in the way.

We then played Burnout, and went back to CoD later and the people were a whole lot brighter, only had to kill a few people for being jerks. So never play right when school is out.

I used to feel the same way. After spending more time with the German rifleman though I gotta say both are great!!
 
I just started playing online...so all the maps are new to me. REALL fun though. I like the online game. Single player was ok....not sure if I'll buy the maps though.

I have this game but I have never played the multiplayer... Maybe I should give it a shot.... Call of Duty 2 multiplayer was a blast after the patch

You know, this is really going to suck for the next month as long as my 360s in the shop. I was already rusty after missing a couple weeks due to not having Live, but now I'm definitely going to fall behind. And now I'm getting on average 30-60 points on a match of War and 30 or so on Team Battle.
 
While they're working on the maps tell them to fix ranked matches. I hate waiting in a room for 10 mins until to get kicked when the match starts.

The people in the Xbox forum are the biggest losers. There are abot $50 topics of the same thing. They then whine about the game being shit, yet they still play it and want new maps. A friend of mine joined a ranked match and it didn't take more than 2-3 minutes. I don't see the problems that everyone else has.

Of course someone in the Xbox forum said that they can't even get online in CoD3 60% of the time. What the hell do these peopel do to the games?

I like the game very much. I play player matches all the time. But when I want a challenge, I'll play a ranked match but I only get in to one 50% of the time.
 
It's the only ranked match i have seen, and he hasn't compalined about the ranked ones, odd.

I want the new maps damnit! And the title should be changed. :)

"Re-Release of the V-map Pack

We have some news that many have been waiting for - we will be releasing the Valor Map Pack for download over Xbox live in the near future. Alongside that release we will also be issuing a Title Update which addresses two key issues that many users have voiced in the forums:


1. Ranked Lobby countdown reaches zero, the lobby will sometimes boot all users back to the previous screen

2. When the game successfully loads into a ranked match, occasionally some users will fall outside of the map


Becuase we will be releasing both the map pack and update that addresses ranked match issues simultaneously adequate time is needed for testing with a release in the near future

Your wish has been answered. It's probably very tough configuring a global online game like this. I remember how they mentioned that during the first few weeks the game had been released that they hadn't expected the user levels and did not have enough servers (this was also when they mentioned that a patch would be forth coming for other issues as well). I guess what has happened is similar to what happened to CoD2 when it was released and they just had to work out some of the online bugs.

I guess for all those that were worried about buying this game due to bugs or glitches in the online multiplayer should not be worried now and should absolutely pick up this game.

Why? Crackdown seems like such a weak game. I played it at CES weeks ago and wasn't impressed whatsoever. Felt like a cheap generic GTA styled shooter that's been done before and better. Multi was decent at best. This game on the other hand is awesome on Live and a very very tough challenge on SP. Lost Planet I own, but am worried that my Xbox won't play it so I haven't opened it yet, but for all intents and purposes it seems to get nothing but great remarks.

By the way, word on the street is that the patch will be out February 6 and once and for all will fix the Ranked matches issues/connection difficulties and it will also fix the float through Melville problems. That will also be the date that map pack will be out so Yippee!

Oh and by the way, I'm going to be on soon so if anyone wants a CAG night with the champ right here then throw on and I'll beat all of you.:D;)

The Champ? Check them leaderboards and you'll see I got you by atleast 800 points ;) :)

Also I don't understand why it takes game makers soo long to release a patch for a game when it is broekn from day 1. I mean do they even play there game online before they release them? O yea there thoughts are we can just release a buggy ass game then patch it later on. That irritates me.
 
Meh there not too bad. I liek the original maps better. Also it's slow going when it's tring to set a ranked game up on a new map. There are usually only 8-10 people who get into a room after a 5-6 min wait. It seems like a lot of people didn't buy the new maps.
 
I don't think the maps are horrible, but I'm not having a lot of luck with them gamewise. There is only one I really like, that's Crossing, Stalag and La Bourgad are fine, but I haven't played either that much. Stalag is badly set up for capture the Flag, the axis will always die. Wildwood looks ok, and if I was a better player I would like it more, and Ironclad is shit on a stick.
