Call of Duty 4 PC Multi w/ XBOX360?

Hey guys,

My friend and I want to play CoD4 together online, he has a X360 and I have a PC. Is there a way we can play against each other? I'm not familiar with Xbox Live/MS's system. Any info would be great :)! Thanks!
 
I wish this was possible. It will be more likely that console to console, rather then pc; as they would have a huge performance advantage.
