Call of Duty 4 Players?

i own it for both PC and 360, but have been playing for the PC religiously. definitely a lot easier for myself to use a keyboard and mouse.
 
Great game that I always have a blast with online. Nobody calls me a fag and no squeals from 12-year-olds a la Xbox Live. But nobody seems to use mics at all unfortunately.
 
I don't have it yet but I will be getting it soon. I checked my local Gamestop and they don't seem to have it in stock. I'm gonna look for it during the weekends. I've got a lot of work to do and catch up on anyway so I won't be able to play it until the next couple of weeks.

EDIT: Scratch that, I just picked up the last copy of CoD 4 for PC at my local Wal-Mart. They didn't have it when I checked on monday.

Unfortunatlely no. Silver just allows you to check out the demos, media, marketplace stuff, but not online play.


The funny thing though, is if you get a free 48 hours of Gold you still can't use all the functions like messaging.

Funny, I've had silver for months and didn't know that. I had Gold the first year of owning 360, but since I hardly ever used anything Gold offered I never renewed it. It makes me hate Microsoft a little more, but oh well, not a big deal. I doubt it'll last long. I'd be surprised if they still didn't offer free online play a year from now.

They never have since day one. What makes you think they'll suddenly start?
 
I've seen away from FPS PC scene since my old CAL CS days. I would think reason why people don't use mics is either the clan is using vent(rilo) or other voice comm. programs so they could still ghost in certain gametypes. I've always been m/kb guy but since COD4 MP has barely any recoil its really easy to aim on x360 controller since majority of time only moving x-hair left to right vice versa. Also other day friend mentioned hacks which I totally forget since I quit CS because you never know how ESP's (hacks) these days and there always bypassing punkbuster.
 
I picked up the PC version for while my 360 is out. I don't like the games with more than 20 people, still adjusting. I prefer the 360 version, right now atleast.
