Some people prefer great fun to great graphics. That is what the Wii controller provides.
A lot of people prefer Wii controls to dual analog.

I think if MW:R were made from the start with Wii, it would look good. (Super Mario Galaxy). Since it's a port, things like Overgrown look like a mid gen PS2 or GameCube game.
In the 360 Overgrown, the grass can provide cover and whatnot. The Wii one just can't pull that off, so they mowed the grass away. Also, with the 10 players online, it would probably be hard to handle.
Sorry, but Zack and Wiki would have been better with a mouse, or no motion controls, or Wii motion plus (years later) so it actually works well.
Super Paper Mario and Twilight Princess, both originally GC games, should have had GC controller support.
Excite Bots, though awesome, would have been better if the M+ help guarantee a smooth experience all the time.
The list goes on. Games developed with motion in mind:

Games that feel the need to do everything the Wii controller can do:

Games with functions mapped to motion that could have had alt control schemes for GC or CC:

(mostly looking at NSMB Wii here, though it seems it is still a good game)
