Call of Duty: World at War DLC to be free?

I couldn't find any threads about world at war, which is a pretty OK follow-up to COD4, so lets start one anyway.
Also, I think the DLC is all going to be free for PC:

It better be, paying for DLC on PC unless it's an expansion pack is getting to be a stupid policy that's becoming more popular (See The Maw and Mirrors Edge for more detail)

i believe cod4 got some free maps that were on sale for the 360/PS3 version. but updates are usually last on the list for the PC version of multi-platform games so i'd be surprised if they released it at all.

yeah cod4 on PC got the maps months after the consoles and while I'm quite sure we'll get the maps in a few weeks, they'll at least be free!

I didn't know the pc version of mirror's edge had paid-for DLC. How does that work? EA Downloader?

The map pack is coming. Someone from Treyarch posted on the COD forums that they are rushing to get a new patch and this map pack released as soon as possible.
