Ugh. There's one achievement that's not working at all for me in PGR4. I'm supposed to play a song while in a race and finish second, because that situation's in the lyrics, and I can't get any of its shitty in-game music to play at all. I went to the soundtrack, turned off all of the other genres and songs except for that one and it's not playing at all. That's supposedly how to do it, but nothing happens.
Thats a dumbass achievement. Sometimes its just obvious that some producers dont care.
It's one of the puzzle acheivements where you're supposed to figure out what to do from the title. One of the others has you driving the DeLorean in a thunderstorm around 88 MPH as lightning strikes nearby.
And then you see some serious shit? :whistle2:k

[Warning This Post Contains a Long Winded Rant About How Darthbudge's Life Sucks]

Ugh... where do I start. So today started out fine but then I wanted to go play Football with my friends. Well my mom starts telling me how we need to go home because my dad will be leaving on a trip tomorrow and that he wants us home, but of course even if I went home then all we would do is sit there and watch TV that is hardly bonding time or anything. So eventually I negotiated to where I got to play for an hour and then I leave and they are probably still playing now.

Then on the long way home she starts this long winded rant against Violent Video Games. She starts saying how she doesn't want us playing violent video games and starts naming out Halo and CoD4 in particular. So after we argue for awhile, then she starts going on an anti BitTorrent rant and starts saying how she thinks it is wrong. Then I ask her how exactly I am supposed to buy all of my CD's, DVD's, Movie Tickets, Books, Games and so on without having a job, which even if I did all of the money would go to gas because we live so damn far away.

Ugh. I am really pissed of at this point and we still have like 20 minutes left until home. Then she starts going off about how I spend too much time Using the internet and playing games and how I should be doing stuff that is useful. Again I remind her that there is plenty of stuff I would like to do, but I can't because we live so damn far away. Her retort is that I should clean my room if I am looking for something to do. I think she missed my point.

All this just firmly sets in mind how I much I need to move out ASAP. It would make life so much easier, even starving and barely paying the rent, then it is staying at home and dealing with shit like this.

Anyway, I on the positive front, I actually got some time to talk 1 on 1 with my friend, who I also happen to have a big crush on. Usually she always has someone with her or one of my numbskull friends follows me around and doesn't see that I am trying to talk to her and just end up doing stupid stuff and stealing the show. That was nice for once, I can't wait until she gets her bloody phone back so I can call/text her whenever I want without people hanging over my shoulder and stealing the show.

[/rant] Thanks for reading it if you did, if you didn't just act like you did.

That reminds me when I went to prom, the restaurant we went to was on the beach and my date saw some kids picking on horseshoe crabs on the beach. He near stormed out of the restaurant to yell at the kids.

Yeah, they're hugely important for biochemical research. I remember as a kid when they were allover the Jersey shore but I rarely see them anymore.

Now you know that Spock would really have blue blood, not green, since horseshore blood is copper based.

Man, they weren't kidding when they said there would be an arctic blast. It rattles the house whenever the wind bblows. I'm glad I went joggin this morning so I don't have to do so tomorrow.

EDIT: I see they got "Stomp" all rednecked up on the Grammy's.

Firefox is junk now. I liked it when it worked, but now its a 50/50 chance as to whether it'll even launch.

I do that. But it's more like... I have 7 or so tabs I leave open no matter what, including the OTT, gmail, and several blog-rolls. When something interesting comes in that I want to read, I leave it open -- if I haven't gotten to it in a couple days, I bookmark it in hopes of reading it later.

Well right now we only have one, however for the longest time we had a shitload of them.

Opera.

Sounds like something's fucked upon your system, bra.

You could try Opera or AvantBrowser -- AvantBrowser is somewhat what the bastard child of Opera/Firefox and IE would be.

I got this same problem on my grandma's old PC. I think it was a RAM problem or because of all the spyware and everything. It definately isn't FF's problem.
Well right now we only have one, however for the longest time we had a shitload of them.
Wait...what happened to them?
Chickens are cool. I wish I had some.
I actually don't mind chickens, mostly because they stay outside. Having 3 dogs living in the house drives me crazy though.

EDIT: They pretty much all died off because of old age or Coyotes.
Sunshine was alright. It had a fair amount of action. Enough so you could still walk away and enjoy the movie without having to ponder the message or the meaning of the movie. All of that was still there if you were so inclined to think about such things, I suppose.
The ending was a bit cliche
(with the "monster" chasing them around the ship)
but I suppose they were trying to avoid a Solaris-type conclusion. I give the movie credit for not hitting me over the head with every little plot point and character development.

I thought the casting of "The Human Torch" in a movie about the Sun was pretty funny - and ironic too considering that
he freezes to death :cold:

The Grammy's always make me laugh.
She's not terrible, by any means (although I haven't listened to her album in an eternity, so my memory's kinda hazy).

She's sure as hell no Moving Mountains, the ones who truly deserve that award, though.

But it is the grammys.

My girlfriend parents also have chickens along with sheep, one horse, 2 dogs, some type of birds and a fucking lama camel thing.

I went there once and told them that black people dont do well with animals.

Her life as a socialite or whatever is enough for such despise. Well, I suppose it's not being a socialite, but being a druggie and having a hubby in prison. Heh.

It was nothing against her, but the fact that she's not new. Same goes for Feist, who I would have rather had win the award.

At my family's peak farm period they had:

2 Horses
1 Donkey
10+ Chickens
3 Birds
4 Dogs
8 Cats

The birds, dogs and cats all lived inside too.

hey darthbudge, i read through your thread and posted a fucking long post with a bunch of info, but if you have any questions you can PM me and i'll link you to the different pages about the different procedures, etc.

Well, I've posted on the mozillazine forums and no one is able to assist, just get linked to answers to a problem I don't have. I have no spyware/viruses according to several programs, and I don't really do anything online with this computer that would even allow me to get any. I've uninstalled/reinstalled firefox a couple times with full registry wipes.

Theres really not much else I can do except reformat, and I'm not going to waste my time doing that for an internet browser when IE works fine for what I need. I just liked the look and extension of Firefox.

Like budge said, I remember either talking with him about it or something, but its like the process appears, but the program itself fails to launch and the process becomes unendable 50% of the time.
