Can anyone find me a cheap or free Flash Alternative?
Well I mean for creating games like this:

I need something to work like Flash so I can create games like that.
You could learn how to program Java, which has a free development environment (netbeans). Or you could use any text editor, really.

Just so you know, creating any sort of game, whether it's in Java, Flash, C++, Fortran, COBOL, et cetera, isn't just a drag and drop affair. You'll have to put down the controller for a little while and learn how to program.

Or you can download the Flash trial, which lasts for 30 days.

Get that and a chunky book and you'll be on your way. I wholeheartedly recommend friendsofed (www.friendsofed.com) books for anything Flash, Photoshop, or anything web related, really.

Then again, with the recent Adobe acquisition of Macromedia, I was told that Flash wouldn't be around for much longer. Not sure if I believe my source, but it's certainly conceivable.

Happy programming!
