Can Gamestop Items Purchased Online be Returned In-Store?

I want to pick up the wife two items that Gamestop currently has on clearance as (literal) stocking stuffers. the issue is that these two items come out to about $7 pre-tax. Paying $6 in shipping on $7 worth of merchandise seems silly.

I was thinking of tossing in an item to get me up to $25 for free shipping, and then returning that item in-store for a refund.

I realize it's a pretty scummy thing to do, but I've looked up and down the Gamestop website and I can't seem to find anything I want or need to get me up to $25 for free shipping. Bleh.

You're not the only one who does this, so don't feel bad over it.

When you return it to the store, you're building their in-store inventory. Maybe that'll let you feel better about it?
