Can I clone both my Video and my Audio on separate tv's, in separate rooms?

If you have multiple displays connected to your video card, right click your desktop, select the resolution option. In there you should be able to click the individual displays and select to either extend the desktop to a specific monitor, or duplicate your main monitor. I believe that should do what you're asking.

so that would clone video, but what about audio? if both were hdmi, would both carry the audio? I guess if it doesn't, you could just change the audio output to select the correct hdmi.

I guess your right, that would work, my card has only one hdmi and 2 mini-dps. I was thinking of using one hdmi and one mini dp. but i really wanted to have audio always cloned.

Good call on the audio. Yeah, you'd have to go in and manually change the output to whatever monitor you want. I'm not really sure about duplicating an audio source.
 
Audio can be switched with software.

My Asus 5.1 Xonar DG sound card came with software that allows be to switch my audio from my speakers or headphones. I have both plugged into my PC and have shortcuts made in windows so that I can switch between the two on my keyboard.
 
Switching audio outputs between multiple sources can easily be done in Windows without any extra software. Its the duplicating of an audio source that I believe he wants (or having two of the same audio source going at a time), which I'm not really sure how to go about.
 
I know switching can be done easily, but i was hoping to clone the audio, so that both tv's may run the the audio and video at the same time for erm my anime group screenings...

buy an hdmi splitter? one output to two outputs. then as far as your computer knows, it is only outputting to one hdmi out.

alternatively if you stick with 2x hdmi for video: for audio, you could use analog out and go to radio shack and buy some 3.5mm splitters like this http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Speake...qid=1357420656&sr=1-1&keywords=3.5mm+splitter
