Can I play against someone on a old xbox (using live?)

I have a 360 and I want to give my firend my old xbox so we can do halo, ghost recon and other stuff on live. Can you do co-op that way?

Is that possible?

If the game is backwards compatible, yeah.

Halo 2 is still up there because of this.

Halo is only co-op on one system/screen.

You can co-op some games over live.
