[CAN] Killzone 2 $29.99 - INSTORE @ BestBuy

Man, I'm waiting for a buddy at work to sell me this for $20, but who the hell knows when that's going to happen...$29.99 is quite tempting...mustttt...resissstttt
 
not a fan of FPS so i think ill go get Prof Layton 1 and 2 for the DS :p

although 29.99 for a game that came out in Feb is a great deal!
 
Played around with the demo, didn't really like the way the controls handled. They were kind of slow and clunky.

Was that addressed in the final game or a patch? If so, I'll definitely pick it up. I just traded in Resistance 2 a little while ago so I'm currently shooterless
 
There was a patch to tighten up the controls, although I didn't really find the original controls to be bad, they were just different. This game is definitely worth $29.99, so if you were on the fence before you've really got no excuse not to get it at this price.
 
Yeah they just felt kind of clunky and slow to me.

Hard to take out a wave of Helghast when they're filling you full of lead before you can aim your gun hahahaha

Sadly, I didn't know I could just grab the item and hightail to the cashier, so I wasted way over 10 minutes just to talk to a customer service rep. Needless to say, all the other FS employees were congregated just beside, eyeing me and laughing at their own jokes.

My cheapass-ness got the best of me, I tried ordering two just so I could pick it up in-store and use the $10 off $50 from my SPC card.

Turns out it's sold out.

I just started playing, and comparing the controls of KZ2 with R2...I'd have to agree that the controls are a bit slower. Its going to take some getting used to...haha
 
Apparently the RFD thread says it's stil $29.99 instore, but not that price online anymore

I'm not interested in buying the game, but maybe someone else could try and report back?
 
I can confirm its 29.99 instore, I went and picked up my copy today. The game had already been marked down and had the 29.99 sticker on the shelf.
 
I picked up mine at lunch and it had $29.99 sticker on the shelf too and even the best buy guy is like: You can't beat this deal
 
Can also confirm that its $29.99 instore. Just picked up the last copy on the shelf at the Weston and Highway 7 Best Buy.

Used a $5 reward zone coupon, so I got it for $25. And if I wind up not liking it, well, the TIV is higher than what I paid for it, so, win!
 
As of about 30min ago, The Sherway Gardens location BB had 9 copies left at $29.99. I also got it price matched at Future Shop at Dixie/Dundas ($26.98) so chances are if you can make it there tongiht the employee will still remember me and give you a PM without having to confirm again.
 
went into the BB on Taschereau in QC a bit after opening this morning and they had 2 cardboards left on the rack where it was priced at $29.99. When I got to the cash with the cardboard, the cashier already had the game ready at the cash but it scanned in at $59.99. I told her it was $29.99 so she asked for a price check & I was able to get it for $19.99 as per the price law! If you can't find it at BB anymore, I suggest getting a price match at FS.
