I was going to call BS until I saw the flyer.
But its there.
I'll probably get both PSP games, the Kings Of Leon CD and of course, Infamous.
 
Thanks for the heads up, Patipon 2 is a steal at $10. Infamous at $30 is also fantastic. This balances out the 360 specific Futureshop deals, still would love an Uncharted sale though.

Wow Best Buy Corp is actively pursuing the game market. First the Future shop crazy sales and trade ins and now this (along with best buy taking trade ins soon as well).
 
I'm kinda tempted for that Wireless Adaptor with the controller...I'd be willing to pay that much, especially when taking the cheap-ass route (using the original Xbox wireless adaptor) means havng to set my network to WEP. Also Patapon and Resistance :)
 
Hmmm I could buy a PS3 for $430 and it would come with Infamous, MGS4, and Resistance? Damn... I might be buying myself a PS3 that week.
 
Yeah the PS3 deal is tempting when looking at the price of the games that come with it. This is actually a great bundle for PS3 (for once)
 
Paptapon 2 is for download only. The retail box has a voucher to download it via PSN. Kinda like they did with GTA4: lost & damned. It was a way to test the market for the PSP Go. In other words, no TIV.
 
It says June 30 -July 2 for inFamous. So I buy it now and then PM later? Can I open it in the mean time...?
What are you guys planning?

I'm pretty sure inFamous will be sold out during June 30 - July 2. They won't PM if it's sold out. Then the price will go back up to 70$ on July 3rd...I don't think you can price match after the sale ends...So wouldn't your best bet be to try and get it on June 30?
 
No. It'll be half impossible to get when the sale is live. Just keep it sealed if you're worried about them not doing price protection, then you can return it if need be. Also, you should be able to buy your returned copy then :lol:

That is an option for sure...just keep it in your car or bag/whatever. The only issue would be if they put returned items on a "Do Not Touch" cart or something similar to that which prevents you from buying it back immediately. Reminds me of one of the TRU deals when I first came on CAG...haha

If you want to benefit... you could trade it in now/Kijiji/private sale now for max TIV and buy it during the sale? Just a thought.
 
Crazy, I was ready to wait a year for inFamous to be that price! Patapon and R:R are at a good price too, although I don't like the idea of paying 10 bucks for a game case with no UMD in it (Patapon). Resistance Retribution is great, especially if you own Resistance 2 for PS3. The PSP Plus tech they implemented in this one allows the two games to communicate and you can end up play the PSP game with the DualShock3. For those of you who've wanted to play PSP shooters with a 2nd analog stick, here's your chance! :p

I can't really do that. I love playing inFamous right now and there's no guarantee I'll snag a copy during the sale. It's not worth the risk.

Better to buy the Lady GaGa CD so I can toss it into the fire and hope she gets hit by a car or something.
 
^they mite not let u do that BB Price Protection since its a limited type door crasher event, but its YMMV tho, i think u shud b fine if u open it and play it now and then get ur money back june30th , just try different BBs if u have troubles


not sure if theres a rule where u have to BRING back the game SEALED at the time u try a PP, or u only need the receipt
 
Picked up my copy of inFAMOUS yesterday morning, as well as price matched Prince of Persia (got it for $17.99). I'll be sure to keep inFAMOUS sealed in case I can't get price protection. I'll do the same with GH:WT as well, as soon as my rent gets taken out and I have a better idea what my money flow is like haha

Well, the game alone is 19.99 on PSN. The case is essentially free, or in this case, negative 10 dollars.
 
You guys think the 360 GHWT will be on sale also? It doesn't state PS3 specifically in the ad although it does have a sku. Might be able to swing the 360 version if you push it.
 
Incredible price on inFAMOUS.. if anyone is willing to pick up a few extra and ship one down south to the US, let me know.
 
I picked this up on the weekend after trading a game in at F U Shop for the extra 10 bucks, before reading about this deal. Really hoping they give me price protection on it.
Game is fun but isn't worth full price. It reminds me so much of crackdown for the 360, it could be crackdown's brother. :D

After 12-13% tax (about $4), shipping ($5), and extra $5, it'll be around $45 CDN. Is that still a hot deal?
 
I saw on the flyer there is a Web sale # for each one. Does this mean that we may be able to buy it online? I don't have a BB in my city so that would be my only chance of picking it up.

watch them have like 10 copies to sell a day ... that would suck. i wonder if this is store only or it counts online either way i hope they don't sell out.

Dang, just saw this listed at N4G as one of the top stories which links to the gamer access story about it. Although they thought it was for the U.S. and have since put an update stating that it's probably only for Canada. lol

Anyway, I really hope they do have enough copies in the store and online, and if they do have it online, that their servers are ready to take on all the people trying to get it.

Anyone know when their sales go live on their website? Is it midnight or sometime during the morning?
 
Anyone know whether US Best Buy's will price-match deals in Canada?
