Can the DSI Video chat?

Like if we go on the Web Browser to a site, can we Video Chat? Or is just a camera for pics?

But I highly doubt it, most likely they will have just the camera used for pics. My guess (hope) is that Nintendo will do some kind of video messaging thing (via Firmware, and will probably cost ya) sort of like the Wii Speak Channel where you can send a few second message from one DSi to another an to your Wii.

I'm pretty sure the DSi can handle live streaming chats, not dinky little messages.

Well I want it to. I am buying myself one and getting my girlfriend one for her birthday. So we can verse and such. I was hoping like a video chat or something with it.

Live streaming would be nice but I know no one else in person who is getting a DSi in this economy. No one saved up like me.
