Can the ps3 load sub files for bluray?

I was going to purchase some imports. I have sub files for those bluray's; is it possible to load them up via the ps3 interface?
 
I don't think so; I was looking the same information up awhile ago because I was thinking about importing Advent Children. The answer I basically found was "Rip the Blu, apply subs, and reburn."

bluray is region 0, and so is japan. kinda sucks that they come with eng dub but no subs.
