Can you buy xbox live through the dashboard with a pre-paid credit card?

I want to take advantage of a family pack deal but I don't have a credit card. Can I purchase it with a pre-paid credit card frokm Money Pak?
Has anyone tried this? I've hard if your card information expires they'll block your account from live. And I assume this card would expire when the money is gone.

Wouldn't hurt to give it a try, you don't have live yet anyway so why don't you just try to type it in? ^_^ Hope this helps.

No cuz I have to purchase the card first. :]
And like I said I read someone got blocked from xbox live because their card expired. So if It works and my card expires a week later then i'm blacked from live and out the $100

It will work fine. Pre-paid cards don't expire when there is no money on them. They are just like any other credit/debit card and are given an expiration date. Also Microsoft doesn't ban people from live because there credit card expires.
