i have 2 quick questions where i need your expertise.

for a business class i have to analyze a company. so i chose GameStop. you guys have way more knowledge than me but im trying to find out who their main competition is as far as Stores/online sales go. im kind of stumped. I know it was EBgames, but obviously they're one in the same now.

online im guessing its amazon? as far as mall shopping and all that tho im clueless. in my state ive only seen EBgames and Gamestop. ive never seen any other stores that rival them. any help is appreciated.

There really isnt any competition other then big box retailers...
No reason for a lot of companies to be interested in gaming, the margin on the games/systems themselves is in the toilet. Accessories, magazines, pre owned is where all the money is made..
 
They buy their competition.

There aren't any video game B&M stores around here except one independent place.
