can you transfer saves between xboxes with a x-over cable?

do not buy a memory card. waste of money. KOTOR is 3 times as big as a memory card. I have two Halo saves and a Rallisport Challenge save and its full

It is useful for a live acount if you want to use your name at a friends house. But 30 bucks is alot. I only got one cause my friend got a 2 pack free when he bought an xbox. Its a 3rd party one but no lost files so far.
 
well, i'm trading my xbox for my friend's samsung powered xbox. part of the deal include's getting his saves onto mine. so i'm prolly going to buy a 3rd party piece of crap and take it back or give it to him.
 
I got a memory card along with my bootleg XBox DVD player/ remote off Ebay for $15 I think it was. Haven't had any problems with either.
 
thats wut id do, buy a third party one that has multi megs of space. Also, just transfer each file to the card one by one, itll take time but if too much is on his hd this will be ur resort.

lol way to show them BigNick, by the way do you know if this way allows other saves to be transferred that you can't put on a memory card like DOA3 and DDR? These games won't let me copy on a regular mem. card even though they would fit.

From what I have read online yes. I dont have any of those games, so I cant test them out myself. You should be able to copy it from teh dashboard with no problem.

That doesn't work usb always requires the main device with brains to know what the hell it is. I have 4 usb connectors on my xbox and no THAT DOES NOT WORK
