can you use a ds charger with the 3ds?

Sisters dog got some of my handheld chargers. I was wondering if i could use a ds charger with the 3ds until i replace it. It looks very similar to the dsi charger. I have a dslite, dsi, and dsixl, will any of those work?

I believe so. I think the only one that won't is the GBA/DS Phat.

Nah, the DS Lite charger definitely doesn't work. I am pretty sure the DSi/XL will though.

GBA and Fat DS use the same charger
DS Lite and GameBoy micro use the same charger
DSi/XL and 3DS use the same charger

Any DS that is a Lite or older will not work. I've tried. I am not sure about the DSi. However, that was the point where they started using chargers with a different shape.

ds charger cannot used on 3ds, if you have a dsi charger, that would be work
