[Canada] Amazon.ca: Star Ocean: The Last Hope - $53.99 before coupon

I think I might wait for this one used. The Last Remnant (which I'm pretty much done...just need my last gamerscore from the absolute conqueror) has taken a toll on me for RPGs for a while...and I still need to start Tales of Vesperia :S
 
Resident Evil 5 is $53.99 before coupon too. I've seen a handful of upcoming releases that are the same on amazon.ca. :eek:
 
Amazon.ca often has new releases for like 53-56$ before taking off 10. The new IGN vid though of this game kinda turned me away a bit. I'll probably wait till this is cheap if buying it...the voices of the chars, and the chracters themselves, seem really annoying and the graphics aren't really my thing. I'll wait for the reviews though :D
 
Reviews are worthless. The Last Remnant is one of the worst rated Square games to date - all because the reviewers couldn't get past the rendering issues. Install to HD = no more problems! The game is PHENOMENAL!
 
I pre-ordered it about a week ago when they brought it down to 53.99! I also agree that Last Remnant was phenomenal! I purchased it day of release, enjoyed every minute of it, and completed it! It was definitely challenging, and when installed, the rendering issues aren't as bad.

JRPG's still kick ass!

Well as far as the 360 goes I've played BD (which sucked bad), Sonata (which sucked pretty bad), Lost odyssey (which was pretty good), tales (which was very good), IU (which was meh), mass effect (which was real good.. if you call that an rpg)...are there any others?

Haven't actually played last remnant...I just have no interest in playing it. That whole persuading the kid to the dark side theme is blech.
 
You just type it into the promotional field when you check out.

Some people, including myself, know what games are good and what they'll enjoy 99% of the time...anyway, thats why I won't ever play that game.
 
When I tried to enter the coupon, it said that it was for amazon.com only. what did i do wrong???
