unlike Farcry or POP ( that has sleeves and extra physical content alongside with digital) this one only has digital pre-order bonuses. i don't know why people are deciding which place to pre-order since all those codes are going to get posted on the internets very soon after the release :/

anyway... my friend is buying this game, and i'll have to sit with him and put a all nighter in. ( its a thing we have, where once or twice a month we rent or buy a game, food, some porn, and spend the whole day playing that game.)

and might as well do it, since its batman.

So if I place an order for the 360 version and choose in-store pickup from my Best Buy (that is, if it will let me), would I be guaranteed a copy? I work during the day, so there's no way I'll get to a store before 5pm.
 
The guide is in store only...we'll see if they honor that in store at the $38.83 price.
Glad I ordered it the PS3 sold out. The 360 has 69 copies left.

It all depends when the employees get the email and walk over to the display and full fill your order. I've had them take half a day to do it and sometimes they've done the order before the stored opened.

Or you can order it online put in the bag as a filler item and get free shipping that way you don't have to sit there tomorrow wondering if you get a copy.

most bonus unlockables come in the form of single use codes.
they're unique and not re-usable.

btw - i'm pissed off we're not getting an exclusive character on 360.
why does ps3 get joker? why couldn't they do it like soulcal and give each
system an exclusive? bastards.

Well I guess in-store pickup is out, it shows up as not available. The cloth bags are out of stock so I can't use that for a filler item, and there really isn't anything else at the moment I'd want to spend money on. Oh well, will figure something out. 43 copies for the 360 left online, when last I checked.
 
The cloth bag was OOS when I ordered it it still let me order it anyway, try anyway.

It shows not available for in-store pick up because the game has not been released yet. That will come available tomorrow but getting your order fill filled all depends on stock when the employee goes to the shelf.

Game trailers has a video review up there looks to be some minor spoilers characters and settings.

You can still add it to your cart and check out. They will likely ship the game, then the bag will be shipped separately once it's back in stock. At least that has been my experience in similar circumstances with Best Buy in the past.
 
Thankfully my local EB let me pre-order 2. One for me and one for a buddy of mine who is moving tomorrow and can't pick it up. I thought for sure they would only let me pre-order one, so definitely a bonus.

Farcry and POP did have reuseable bonus codes tho, ( extra maps, and original Prince for POP)
 
I preordered today at my local EB (St. Clair and Runnymede in Toronto) and was told that although I won't be getting a copy tomorrow since they're all spoken for, I will have the price locked in for the next shipment (I paid in full). I made sure I verified this with him before I paid.

I might just head out early tomorrow to Walmart since mine opens at 7, and I can make it before work. Nice to have a fallback though.

Got busy at work, or I would have done it earlier. Ordered it anyway with the bag, it let me do it even though it was out of stock. There were only 2 left when I placed the order and 0 when I finished, so hopefully it went through ok. Fingers crossed.

Not sure if it's different where you are, but here in Fredericton, they open at 8 am.

I decided to bring in my copies of Lost Odyssey and Mass Effect (played them both a few times) to EB Games. This gets me Batman for no additional cost :)
 
just got back from Wal-Mart at dix30 in QC and they only had PS3 games in stock. Cashier said to try again later today for 360, luckily I wanted PS3. Guy right after me picked up 3 copies.
 
Picked up my copy from EB this morning as well; between the T3 deals, sales, and Goozex, I'm running out of space on my gaming shelf!

Also, I saw a couple of the Batman LE's behind the counter, just the sheer size of those things turns me off from wanting one. I have no idea where I would put it.

just picked up my copy. ended up preordering on friday...they didn't have any extras for those who didn't preorder (queen/spadina store).
 
I picked mine up from BB but they didn't even have any strategy guides in stock for the day.

I got a raincheck on the guide but since there's no ETA I'm thinking of just returning the game and picking it up from EB if Dem Bones are included in all copies.

EDIT: Apparently rainchecks weren't to be given on guides? Guess BB ain't so bad afterall...
 
Picked up my copy this morning. Amazing gaming. Potential Goty unless nub fps junkies give it to CoD4 part 2. Anyways whoever said T3 preorders would get $30 credit back, my store said that wasnt happening, but they at least let me change my preorder to M:UA2 and just buy it separately:bouncy:.
 
Just picked mine up at EB ... they're price matching just for today.

$38.83. Straight trade for Prototype! Well I guess I had to pay a few dollars extra.

It's also 38.83 at Bestbuy and FS, according to the websites anyway.
 
My online order from BestBuy shows up as 'out of stock' and all the futureshops, and bestbuys near me show out of stock so I couldn't pick one up in person even if I wanted to (they've only been open 20 minutes too!).

I've never ordered anything online from BestBuy, so I was wondering, will my order actually be filled if they get more stock and if they do, would the price stay locked at what it was when I ordered?

Then your fine, they will ship it.
 
Picked up mine from Futureshop Deerfoot Meadows in Calgary. Not much stock put out, only 2 left 360, 3 for PS3.
 
Great, picked up a copy at Wal-Mart. They had a ton of copies for both systems in St. Catharines @ fourth ave.
 
Picked this up from Futureshop in downtown Edmonton. Website has it listed as out of stock, but they have TONS of copies (for 360 at least). I think best bet for stock would be going in and checking or calling, website doesn't seem to be updated yet.
 
Walked into EB games around 2pm and bought a 360 copy without a pre-order. They had plenty of copies for both systems.

The EB Games Scarecrow bonus is printed right on the box art. Not sure if this is the pre-order bonus or something else entirely.

EDIT: looks like it's a "pre-paid redemption code" and it's printed on the back of a Batman sticker inside the game case.
 
Local WMT did not have any more copies for PS3 when I went there at +- noon (+- 30 copies left at noon for X360 , WMT St-Leonard, better call before going).
 
Yeah, definately not worth it. The batarang looks really cheap (almost as bad as that aweful Altair figure in the Assassin Creed collectors edition!). I gotta admit that I was tempted at picking up the collectors edition while picking up my regular copy of the game. Looks like I made the right choice. Thanks Princess Zelda for the video link.

(Also, did anyone try entering his DLC codes that he showed in the video? I wonder if someone already tried...)
 
That CE looks really poor. You would think they would make a decent Batarang, especially if it is mounted to the stand. Since it is only for display (no way for some idiot to throw it a someone) they should have made it a little nicer.

The comments mention them so I assume someone has already entered them if they are one-time use.

I picked up a copy at EB in Kingston, both has stock for 360 but neither have any stock on PS3, pre-orders only for it.
 
Kingsway EB in Edmonton is sold out of PS3 versions and had about 6 copies of the 360 one when I was there.

They actually gave me the option of switching my T3 to something else or obtaining the credit. I just switched my T3 to Dirt 2 (which is a GG and is going to be returned) and paid with credit. With all of these great deals I don't think I'll have to pay full price for any game this winter.
 
Good Summer thanks to EB, Overvalued trade in's (Too Human,Two Worlds) and great T3's have me set this Winter

Batman may be one of the best bargins this summer, glad my EB pricematched used extra credit towards recently lowered Uncharted
 
I decided to check out the Best Buy across from Metrotown, just for fun. I asked if they had any copies left for the 360. The girl seemed as surprised as I did when stock came up showing they still had 12 copies left :D. So I've cancelled my online order since I no longer need it.

Anyone in the GVA still looking for a copy, they still had 11 copies for the 360 left at 6pm. Unfortunately, sold out of the ps3 for anyone seeking that one.
 
to be on topic, there was alot of Batmans in FS richmond hill.

to be off tipic, i saw Street fighter 4 used 29.99 at BBV. i thought it was pretty cheap for a game that came out few months back. just passing it on.

34.99 NEW also. some 19.99 GHS titles such as oblivion, RSV, and burnout.
 
Hey does anyone have any input on the possibility of the Joker DLC for the PS3 being available as a paid download for the Xbox 360? I remember SCIV had console-exclusive characters that you could later buy anyways. Weird how the PS3 snagged the exclusive DLC, since the 360 seems to be running the show in that department.

Word on the street is that Sony paid for that Joker content. So if this is true you will not see it on 360. Similar to the GTA4 DLC on 360.
