This is a rumour at the moment, but according to RFD, Best Buy will have a bundle for these two games soon. Both games for $90. This is similar to a week or so after Bioshock's release where Bioshock and The Darkness were bundled for $80 or $90 or something.

November 13th is the date.

Thats....a great deal. $45 for both? I'm not buying them because I'm not all that interested/not buying anything this month but $45 a piece is a great deal.

Guess you don't like playing COD on Veteran? It's punishingly hard in a good way and takes a lot longer than 5 hours to beat the game on Vet.

Anyways, decent deal if I didn't already trade 4 for COD at BBV. I'd like the AC limited edition anyways.:lol:
 
EDIT: CoD 4 is spoken for.

$60 for AC was out of the question for me, but now it might be up my alley (I got a $5 off coupon I need to use ASAP anyway).

I already have CoD 4, so if anyone wants to pay $50 for CoD 4 shipped, let me know.

It shouldn't be longer because your replaying the same levels over again in frustration, but because it has that much content.

Normally I'd agree with that, but not with COD. Guess it just has some sort of charm that agrees with me for being so very hard on vet. :p
 
Anyone interested, I should get a copy of Assassins on the 16th. I would trade my sealed Assassins for a Sealed Call of Duty 4 or a opened and mint limited edition COD4. I'm located in Montreal. I would prefer a face to face exchange if it's at all possible.

Except that CoD4 has the greatest multiplayer in a long damned time, but hey, what do I know.
 
this deal is too good to be true. I'll have to go switch my assassin's creed preorder from ebgames to Unreal tournament and buy this. I was gonna go switch it for cod4 today but thank god.

Anybody know if it's possible to mix and match the deal?? I wanna get both, but COD4 for the 360 and Assassin's Creed for the PS3?? Might stop at BB to see if it's possible, hopefully somebody knows for sure.
 
I just ordered this and I was charged $84.99 instead of $89.99. At first my order says $89.99 but I just got an email stating that it was $84.99 instead. They said if I'm charged the higher value they will credit me $34.99 on my credit card.

Don't know why but just wanted to let everyone know!

Just looking at this deal on BB's Website, they say that if I use expedited shipping, the games will arrive on Monday the 12th.

Thats bullshit, right?

Also, can I go into a Futureshop (there really isnt a convenient BestBuy close to me) with the flyer and price match this?

AFAIK Futureshop's price match policy doesn't allow matching bundles.

Could be true. It depends on where you live and where they're shipping from. I've seen same day deliveries happen with cheap shipping before. Heck once I sent something to a local law office in the morning and recieved a reply letter that afternoon.
 
What are the chances I could walk into the store on release day and pick up the bundle? I'm tempted to ship it here but going there saves on shipping plus I can visit Wal-Mart. Hmmm...

BB and FS at St. James still don't have it in stock, and don't have a rough idea when they will get it other than "sometime today".

Hopefully they get it in stock before I go home for the day :\
 
I called my local Burlington BB and they were sold out of all 15 copies. :( Anyone have any luck price matchign this at FutureShop?
 
Picked mine up from BB (used a $5 rewards coupon too).

Should have probably checked FS and see if they only had LE in stock and whether I could pricematch. But whatever...
 
These are short games. Here in Calgary there are lots of CoD4 copies on the boards at $40 each. I think I will be able to get both games even cheaper (used) if I can wait a couple of weeks.
 
i went to the calgary fs in sunridge, and they wouldnt let me PM the games because BB didnt have em in stock yet, so stupid, but what was even stupid is that best buy advertised the bundle to start on the 15th and they dont even have AC in stock >_> plus i missed out on a collectors edition hat from fs lol.
 
My copies got shipped today. I caved and bought AC from Futureshop last night, so I'll be returning the Best Buy copy to Fututureshop when it arrives.
 
ebgames price matched based on a proint of the BB website showing stock on hand... handy because I have a credit there.

AC is AWESOME. Reviewers that scored it low are idiots.
 
WTF, I ordered this bundle over a week ago when there was plenty in stock and AC wasn't even released yet and now they email me and tell me it's out of stock? The hell?
