Update 3: The new website is http://www.tivs.ca thanks to neksus!

Update 2:

Lone Prodigy is awesome and made a new one: http://ebtradeinvalues.scribblewiki.com/Main_Page

Update:
Please update the wiki yourself. The new wiki is http://www.citgocapital.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

RFDers use/edit it as well.

Alright, the Americans have a wiki page with all the EB Games trade-in values and I figured we might as well start one for the Canadian EB. It's good reference for if we ever want to sell our soul or maybe take advantage of loopholes in their promos! I'll try and keep the list updated as much as possible.

If you have info to add, please do so in the following format:
*Game Name - $# - Month Day, Year
For example:
*Sonic Mega Collection - $8 - September 29th, 2006.

Group them by system please!

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (PS2) - $7
NBA 2k7 (360) - $8+
Donkey Konga - $8+

They didn't have the original values on the receipt. I guess it's because I told them before hand that it was for the PSP deal.
Ahhhhhhhhh you traded in the PS2 version MGS: Subsistence for $10? I've been searching for that for ages ;_;
You sure you're not thinking of MGS2: Substance? MGS3: Subsistence is pretty common, I see it around everywhere for cheap. Substance on the other hand is hard to come by.

Hmmm good point. Substance is $10 on the Wiki: I changed it back.

I wonder if its the same for Collectors Edition...

Thanks for the formatting Firestorm. I guess Diamond is the same as Pearl, though it's the better-selling version...

Ryy: current as of tomorrow? ;)

spzero: CE is likely more.

Yeah, probably the same. They seem to be 50% of their featured trade in values. Thankfully I was trading in towards the PSP deal so they got bumped up to $25 each.

And np, I know how troublesome it is to update the wiki when people do it in different formats >.>;

Just traded in a few yesterday...

Kessen II (PS2) - $10.00
Kessen (PS2) - $ 8.00
NHL 2K8 (PS2) - $9.00
Armored Core: Formula Front (PSP) - $7.00
Legend of Heroes: A Tear in Vermillion - $7.00

Weird though... Didn't get the extra-trade in value deal. Oh well...

Please tell me they went towards a promo and were bumped up to 25!

AH!!! F***

I made my brother do the trade-in. He didn't know about these deals. I can't believe I forgot about the free game deal. DAMN!

I seriously did not think any of these cost more than $8, which I why I did not bother to mention it to him. I only told him about the extra-trade in value deal, which he did not get. Argh...

You probably got the extra trade-in values but didn't see it as it was already included in the shown price.

You've returned 5 games and your kessen 2 was worth 10$
I've just returned 10 games and my kessen 2 was worth 11$

Kessen 2 base price must have been and is still at 6$
5 games = 20$ = 4$ extra per game
10 games = 50$ = 5$ extra per game

Here's my first contribution to the thread.
Traded 10 games and got the 50$ extra. The second listed price is the price shown on the receipt.

Silent Hill 2 (PS2) = 4$ (9)
Kessen 2 (PS2) = 6$ (11)
Top Spin (PS2) = 9$ (14)
Morrowind (XB) = 3$ (8)
NFS Prostreet (X360) = 41$ (46)
NHL 2k8 (X360) = 20$ (25)
Import Tuner Challenge (X360) = 3$ (8)
Quake 4 (X360) = 8$ (13)
Over G Fighters (X360) = 3$ (8)
Lair (PS3) = 21$ (26)

Thanks for all the infos on this thread guys, it really helped me out !

Dec. 10

If you have Smackdown 2008, hurry up and trade it in. The prices in Best Buy and etc dropped to about $45.

Game Title - Price - (Receipt Price)

360 - Smackdown Vs Raw 08 $41 (45)
360 - TimeShift $22 (26)
360 - Blue Dragon $21 (25)
360 - TopSpin 2 $17 (21)

I went to eb today to see what the tiv is on a few games out of curiositys sake

Dec 11
(360) Halo 3 - normal game edition = 40$
(360) PGR4 - normal edition - 30$
(PS3) Rachet and Clank Tools of Destruction - 23$

Kinda cheap for Rachet and Clank since it is a failry new game. i bet the TIV is better at BBV
If someone has time to add this to the Wiki i would appreciate it. My brain is dead from, work today and i need to lay down.
anyone know the eb value of a used wii console with original box and stuff?
You could probably stand inside an EB for 10 minutes and wait for someone to ask if they have any Wii's and sell it to them outside for lots!

Never trade/sell consoles at EB Games.

You are getting robbed if you do.

Wiis are selling for around $400 used on EBay right now.

You could try selling locally at redflagdeals.com/forums as they are in high demand right now.

How much is ps3 trade in value?

Mine is a 60gb, want a 40gb because I heard it runs cooler and quieter.

Whatever the value might be, you're way better selling a console on your own to someone, rather than trading it in to a store, especially when the 60GB's aren't being manufactured anymore. My advice is to write up a listing here, craigslist, and ebay.ca, and sell it that way, which would give you more money than trading it in.

Where do you live and do you have the receipt? Might know someone interested if you're around Vancouver.

I'll offer you whatever EB offers + 10%? >_> _> Or I'll see how much someone else offers.
Jan 4:

Animal Crossing DS: $13
Mario Kart DS: $20
Can I trade in my copy of mario kart ds with the cardboard sleeve for $20?

For that, it depends on the person. The "official" policy thats been told to me, was that they didn't accept any games that weren't complete (ie. had manual, box, etc.), but it always seemed weird to me as they sell games that don't have a case and stuff. So, hope for the best.
