Update 2:

Lone Prodigy is awesome and made a new one: http://ebtradeinvalues.scribblewiki.com/Main_Page

Update:
Please update the wiki yourself. The new wiki is http://www.citgocapital.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

RFDers use/edit it as well.

Alright, the Americans have a wiki page with all the EB Games trade-in values and I figured we might as well start one for the Canadian EB. It's good reference for if we ever want to sell our soul or maybe take advantage of loopholes in their promos! I'll try and keep the list updated as much as possible.

If you have info to add, please do so in the following format:
*Game Name - $# - Month Day, Year
For example:
*Sonic Mega Collection - $8 - September 29th, 2006.

Group them by system please!
This is really great cause I can now check it from inside BBV or EB. Can't thank you enough. Only thing is I wish it wasn't just for the last 60 days I wish it was for any title >$8 with a date the it was checked. This way your not missing out on some older titles that still have around the same tiv but haven't been checked for 60 days, however a game that hasn't been checked for 60 days and still has the same tiv is probably pretty unlikely.
I feel the same way too about this, but I was really surprised to find out recently that my Enchanted Arms for PS3 went back up in price to $10 when I asked the clerk at EBG. I remember when I asked three or so months ago and it was $6 back then. So you never know until you ask. Good luck ppl. :D

I had originally planned to keep tivs.ca ad free, not to mention integrate a graphical interface...
however - the site is fairly simple with only textual, and so far this month it's received 50955 hits and used 5.21 GB of bandwidth...averaging over 300 unique a day (not bad for a site that's less than a month old).
Keep in mind that the images only accounted for 1.5 megs of the usage (and good thing I optimized the mobile page to be under 7kb!)

The weird part is that 2/3 of the bandwidth is coming from the US (according to awstats)...

All in all I'll have to find a way to support the traffic over the long term.

Hey, anyone know the TIV for Monster Hunter Freedom 2? Not a big deal as I have 3 other games for a T3G1F (No More Heroes, Endless Ocean and Rune Factory).
My bad, it's actually $17. ;)
Just what the Hell is going on? $17?!?! It's like they want us to buy cheap used copies of DWTS (I don't think they actually exist :p) and trade 'em in for free pre-orders!

As of September 29th, 2008

Endless Ocean (Wii) - $11
No More Heroes (Wii) - $11
Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (DS) - $12

Obviously used them in a T3G1F. Fable II is paid off =D

Maybe it's supply and demand. I was so surprised that Ratatouille (PSP) was $8 when it's
Maybe it's supply and demand. I was so surprised that Ratatouille (PSP) was $8 when it's greater than? I always got so confused.
Wait... is < great than or is > greater than? I always got so confused.
I traded 2 games saturday, September 27:

Ninja Gaiden 2 (X360) - 35$ (got sick of the camera)
Ace Combat 6 (X360) - 22$ ( I never got past the first mission...yeah I suck THAT much)

Preordered Fallout 3 for 5 bucks more.
Wait... is < great than or is > greater than? I always got so confused.
It kinda works both ways. Imagine the symbol as Pacman. He's really hungry, so he wants to eat the bigger number.

1 < 8 To the right! nom nom nom
7 > 3 To the left! nom nom nom
1 = 1 Pacman stares at you, confused and hungry
I still remember my grade 3 teacher teaching me the Pac Man way to remember < and >.
hehe he always eats the bigger number. that's how i've always remembered it i think.
hehe he always eats the bigger number. that's how i've always remembered it i think.
I had French Canadian teachers so no Pac Man for me just an alligator for me, I just get brain farts when theres no number on the other side :D.

Is Ratatouille still at 8 for PSP?
2 for
Mass Effect!

$2 FOR MASS EFFECT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??????111 :cold:
Yeah, I think the oversaturation of the market killed it. My FS still has almost 50 copies of 'em still left over.
tivs.ca? :p
Excellent place. How can I update that? Is it public? I'm asking 'cause I go to trade stuff in most of the time.

Currently the only way is to just post here or rfd. I troll the sites and update as often as possible. I'm still working on a few other things - I'd like to incorporate a registration system where users can suggest new prices and people with rights can update what people suggested, but haven't had much time lately.

They're pulling out all the stops to revive the franchise, but do we really need MORE characters?

Apparently the hands-on with the new Sonic game were pretty positive.

And I agree, there's Super Sonic, Werewolf Sonic (Were-Sonic?), Robot Sonic, Shadow Sonic, that fucking alligator with headphones and all the loli animals.

We all know Big The Cat is the only one who can save the franchise now t hat Sega's in way too deep.

Big The Cat's Rapala Fishing anyone? Hells yeah.

I hope Assassin's Creed's TIV for 360 has risen up to 8$.... I badly want to trade it. Everytime I try to play it, I fall asleep in front of the TV. (it's not a bad game...it just makes me feel...sleepy... )

Just thought I'd mention that I was in Rogers today and noticed the iPhone on display so I went to the tivs.ca site...worked and looked good, needs dates, though.

I've actually gotten some feedback from quite a few iPhone users - wishing they could access the entire site instead of just the mobile display. I'd like to integrate a choice for iphone users.

anyone got trade in values for rock band 2? i'm debating whether or not i should trade it in, or sell for forty? wondering if anyone has updated values on warioware (wii) and smash brothers (wii) as i'll be trading those in too.

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure the highest trade in value EB usually has is $35.00. I can't say for sure if that is the value, but I'd think you'd be better off to just sell it for $40 if you have that as an offer.
