Update 3: The new website is http://www.tivs.ca thanks to neksus!

Update 2:

Lone Prodigy is awesome and made a new one: http://ebtradeinvalues.scribblewiki.com/Main_Page

Update:
Please update the wiki yourself. The new wiki is http://www.citgocapital.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

RFDers use/edit it as well.

Alright, the Americans have a wiki page with all the EB Games trade-in values and I figured we might as well start one for the Canadian EB. It's good reference for if we ever want to sell our soul or maybe take advantage of loopholes in their promos! I'll try and keep the list updated as much as possible.

If you have info to add, please do so in the following format:
*Game Name - $# - Month Day, Year
For example:
*Sonic Mega Collection - $8 - September 29th, 2006.

Group them by system please!

I thought I'd throw this question in here because its TIV related:
Does anybody know how BBV's TIV values for DVDs are? I'm not expecting more than a couple bucks each, but there are bunch of movies I bought as opposed to renting for dirt cheap and just didn't like them, so I have no problem getting rid of them for a few dollars.
Do they ever have the minimum $5 per DVD deal anymore?
I remember that back from a couple years ago...It was magical.

Most DVDs trade in for $1.40 if they are at least a year old seeing as how all movies will eventually hit the $4.99 selling point. And no, they don't have the $5 minimum, that was only back when DVDs were actually worth something.

speaking of DVDs at BBV, how are their usual condition.

i found a few dvds i would buy ( passchendale, full metal jacket, etc) for cheap, and i found the Indy collection used for 29.99..... hmm

i would bite, but the condition is whatès making me hold on it... last time i try to return a dvd, they were BSin about how i broke it.

Pikmin 2 $1? I just Goozex'ed it for 550 points. It's about $30-50 on eBay (only the black label ones though).

Uh no it wasn't confirmed until E3 even though destructoid had a rumor up but they are usually known for not being reliable either which should not have had any effect on the TIV

I probably should've picked a better emoticon to convey the sarcasm. ;)

What would BBV selling it for $19.99 have to do with EBs TIV, you probably found one of the only copies in all of the GTA, the only reason BBV would have it is if someone was dumb enough to trade it in there for $8-10.

Oh shit sorry dude.

It can be so hard to pick up sarcasm on the interwebs, my bad though
^how much is ebg selling GOW1 for? and who the hell trades in games that have tivs lower then 5?
EB sells Gears of War for $34.99, $2 TIVs are the value they give to games they have too many of, there have been many games in the past that have been reduced to $2 because of an influx of trades so they drop the value for a while until there is higher demand for the game

did they not circle your receipt?

how did you get the extra 10% trade in value?

those games aren't a part of the get more credit promo this month.

Future Shop June 23
(360) Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 2 - $8.40 (still)

Great deal to import the tracks since EB is selling it for $14.98 now

wplayer: I don't think they circled the receipt - I might have tossed it as I can't see it around here anywhere but I'll look later and see. They never mentioned anything about the extra 10% either - I didn't even notice that till I left the store and I was wondering why the prices were 10% extra Maybe it's the 10% for 10 games like klepto said?

neksus: Sorry. It was Tomb Raider Legend. Not the anniversary one.

June 24, at Future Shop:
PSP: Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions - $18.00

Also, I guess the extra tax was just an error in their system because they didn't do it this time. Oh well. It was good while it lasted.

Checked the TIV of some games today @ EB:
Meteos ds = $10
RE5 360 = $40

Any of them were used games from BBV ?
Thanks for sharing.

as a matter of fact,
one of my local bbvs had:

lego batman - wii for $14.99
rapala fishing - 360 for $9.99
shaun white - 360 for $24.99
stoked - 360 for $29.99

rapala, shaun white and stoked are all in the "50% off any Sports Game with a Rental" bin.

it's a shame rentals come to $10.00 cause id get shaun white for $12.50
rapala for $5.00 and stoked for $15, so i asked around for tivs to see if it was worth it. ill keep looking at all the bbvs in my area.
i may have to actually rent some games and get all these 50% off deals.

i went to 3 bbvs today and only 1 had the "50% Off Sports Games w/ A Rental" deals.
weird. anyways.

just updates:

Street Fighter IV - 360
FS - $40
BBV - $35

Rock Revolution - PS3
BBV - $24
