Alright, the Americans have a wiki page with all the EB Games trade-in values and I figured we might as well start one for the Canadian EB. It's good reference for if we ever want to sell our soul or maybe take advantage of loopholes in their promos! I'll try and keep the list updated as much as possible.

If you have info to add, please do so in the following format:
*Game Name - $# - Month Day, Year
For example:
*Sonic Mega Collection - $8 - September 29th, 2006.

Group them by system please!

btw i only traded in about 18 games. My ps3 collection is not as big as my xbox 360, but I cleared out most stuff that would sell for 14.99 because i would get at least 15$ for it. Always can buy back later and most likely at a cheaper price.
 
Nice score...just want to confirm, ALL the games traded in towards the GOW3 promo were PS3 games or did you get lucky with the CSR with mixing in some X360, Wii games ?

PS3 Condemned 2: Bloodshot = $10
PS3 Brutal Legend $30 (but the Hasting BBV has met it's store limit so they are not accepting any more. I had to go to the North Van BBV)

wii Sport Resort = $22
PS3 GOW Collection = $15
 
And while you're at Costo, you can pick "Harry Potter & Half-Blood Prince" on PSP which sells for $9.9x and has a tiv of $16 at EB. ;-)

I asked neksus about this last time around and it was his opinion that we should update the $10 values... so I have been. Most of them were vastly out of date anyway, and will be moot after the $10 anyway since no one will be trading them in again, so it probably doesn't matter either way.

Not sure of the values, but they qualified for T3G1 free

PS3 - God of War Collection [I'm not sure how much longer this will hold a +$8 tiv, I think the tiv is $9 now. I'll probably buy it again when it's $15-20 ;)]
PSP - Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince [thanks for the tip, TheCurse9 :D - picked it up from Costco for $10]

Used both those towards UFC 2010 :D [trade 2 for $50 credit, pay the difference]

i was at BBV today tried to trade in the soundtrack edition(has 2 discs) and the guy refused to take it coz he couldn't scanned into the system and he said it's a different version...i was like WTF? did anyone have the same problem?

It was on the list last week (i.e. valid for FFXIII Mar 9-11 only). It has been removed for the current promo (GOW3/FFXIII until Mar 18)
 
can someone clarify for me the gamestop/ebgames god of war promotion deal where you trade in 5 ps3 games with a tiv of 5$ or more?

wouldn't take my Wii Fit (game only), guess they realized there's no reason why someone would buy it. I wanted to preorder GOW3 w/ trade 2, but they said i wouldn't qualify for the GOW collection if I wanted that (which I do) for $15 on Tues, so decided to get straight credit and pay for it that way. Was there a better way for me to do it ?

Every single one of those $1 games would have got you at minimum $3 at Rogers Plus... All 360, PS3, Wii have $3 minimum trade-in...

i traded 10 old sports games (nhl 07, 08, 2k6 2k7 2k8 2k9) both platforms, got Lfd2 for free. Use it on same transaction and there is no tax.

Also everyone needs to understand game trade in values are going to be low for a little bit. I feel like i keep saying this and no one listens. Bioshock 2 should go back up to 40 next month, if not after. A lot of games have tanked and will definitly go back up.

I assume L4D2 and Mario qualified? That's $54 right there so you only get $6 "extra" if you do the T2, and you don't get the $15 off GOWC. I think going for straight credit was the better option.

I'm about 100% sure of this as well, and can more or less guarantee it. Today NHL 08 and 09 both traded for $3... so if NHL 08 will trade for $3, pretty much anything should!

If so, where the heck did you get 10 old sports games complete with english manuals, boxes, and mint condition discs?!?! lol!

That's a cool tidbit about there being no tax if you do it on the same transaction. I wish all stores were just like EB and the credit was just tax free whenever you decide to use it.
