[Canada] EB Games: Trade 2 + $10 Get it Free

Awesome, and here I was struggling to find 2 more (cheap) games with $8+ TIV, now I just need one. I have to do this for EndWar/Call of Duty: World at War. Thanks.

I already have Banjo and Tales pre-ordered at TRU and Amazon, but I think I'm finally gonna get off my ass and try to grab some cheap games for Mirror's Edge and Gears of War 2.

Hrm, I might do this one if I can find the games. I only have $100 towards my Guitar Hero bundle. If I trade 2+$10, I can get Smackdown, then "return" it for another $60 towards GH. (It doesn't seem like my pre-order will be in before the 11th anyways)
 
Seriously? This is sweet! I'm sooooo getting Naruto with this deal! (So long as it's actually out this month... EB doesn't seem to have an accurate date).
 
i really shouldn't spend any more money...i have like 8 games i haven't even played yet, and with school and a family (and the coding i want to do on a few sites :p) i haven't had much time...i've been sneaking in the odd hour of fable 2 here and there but geez! i haven't even opened fallout 3 or tales of vesperia and both of those are easily 100+ hours!

Don't rush it, around Xmas time, you'll have plenty of it to play and might even find a better deal on them.

Oh and looks like I'm in the clear for the deal :applause:

Awesome. Looks like FS competition is paying off for us. If Futureshop wasn't in the trade-in business they probably wouldn't do this, or it would be trade 3.
 
Alright, I just called a few EBs and supposedly this deal is only for sports titles, so can anyone confirm or deny this?

I'd like to be able to preorder Animal Crossing for less than msrp. :S

Employees at EB, like most retail employees, tend to have no idea what's going on with their stores until it's right in front of them. In this case it's likely we're more informed about this than they are.

I would like to hear some more hard confirmation though.
 
Well it was the manager who spoke about it, so I dunno.

If this is only for sports games, then that means I'll just have to write off preordering AC this way then and just wait to get it.

My parents want me to save a couple of games for Christmas and my birthday >_< I wanna get rid of Skate and Eternal Sonata which would work for this. Mirror's Edge sounds promising... and with Left 4 Dead I don't know if I want it for PC or 360.

EDIT: Just saw the sports update. I may get NBA 2K9... but I'm not sure!
 
I'm assuming some stores still have the old flyer. We will probably find out more once it hits November, which is this weekend.

I was told by phone by an EBGames employee that the 2 games+10$ flyer is not yet public and shall be released on November 7. YMMV I suppose.
