I got 200 and an e-mail sent to me without a code... maybe because it's Windows Live classic or whatever.

Well, there's the 200 points that Microsoft doesn't give us when we buy points cards. 300 would have been full vindication (I doubt I'm using that correctly) as everyone gets that 100.

Oh well. A new Rock Band song is always nice.

meh. I wanted to get atleast a couple of hundred so I could start getting some arcade stuff. It said you could get points once daily. Why do things always have to be abused.

It's likely this isn't "dead", they've just stopped sending out the emails with the initial code. If you're playing this properly you'll get the point code for whatever you've gathered at the end of the game. Which is good for anyone not interested in cheating the system.

Oh and the address info would only really matter if you actually win a physical prize :lol:

Yep, that's what I'm thinking. I've been playing this game as per the rules, and have about 750 points right now I believe. Only takes about 5 minutes to play a day so if I don't receive the points in the end, no big deal.

But I'm thinking they stopped giving out points due to the abuse, not because they ran out... but who knows.
 
Looks like they do have more points...strange they started this again cause it's just gonna get abused...yet again.
 
You can only get 100 ONCE now. Great for me, I missed it last time and will appreciate the extra 100 points.
 
Ugh, the showroom is totally flooded with red cars again. There was some pretty nice looking work in there when this deal was "dead".
 
Site is crapping out and won't accept codes now.

I swear, these things ALWAYS happen just when I hear about it. :\

how in the world I get the 100 points? I made a car and submited with fake state and zip code since BC and postal code won't work. I didn't get no points.

It took my code and I can't enter it anymore, but I never got credited with the 100 points. Is there a delay of any kind or did I just get screwed?

Looks like you can do this every day and build up a balance, then they will mail you a code in September.

Alright, cool, I'll give this a go for the next few weeks. :) Also, if anyone has a link to exactly how this works to build up 2000 points, please share..

Got another 100 points to go with the 100 I got earlier before it died, 2 free Rock Band songs ($1 ones) is better then 1 :applause:

Might try doing the extra work too.
 
man, I can only get it once. It won't let me use the same email. I signed up with a different email but it won't let me enter another code into the same account.

Yep, they fixed it so the system can't be abused again. Now you get 1 code for signing up worth 100 points...and you can only enter 1 code per email on the live points site. Then when the promotion ends you'll get another code that will equal your total amount of points earned.

That's good to know! I was confused about why I didn't receive an email with info on the 100 points I was expecting yesterday.

So how do you get more points?
Register a new email everyday? Make a new car design everyday?

Or is there no way to get more than 100 points?

Hey all, if you're on my friends list, do not go to any links I sent you! Multiple friends have sent me message saying the link lead to a virus or scam thing. Firestorm, do not go to any links or fill in anything. I don't know what happened, I don't even remembering sending out a link to my friends. If you did go to the website, plz change your password.
