Edit: According to RFD and the EB Games website, Unreal Touranment III trades in for $35 at EB. Unreal Tournament III trades in for $42 and Gears of War for $17 at Blockbuster Video.

Damn, with all the good RPGs coming out for the 360, I think I might jump on this.
Might just sell UTIII here or at eBay since I already have it on PS3.
 
I posted this in the flyer topic but maybe someone could answer me this question. I bought a 360 on Wednesday and i got Gears and Xtreme Volleyball, do you think i can take the games back and possibly get Gears and UT3. FYI the games are not open.

If not, just buy a 360 and return it with the other two games >_>
 
I hate these price drops. makes me angry that I bought mine for 500$ just 16 months ago. and it doesnt have hdmi and its loud as hell.

$500? But wouldn't that mean you have the Elite model? It's not as if the price of that thing has went down all that much.

no, this was march 2007, I dont think the elite was out back then. it was before the canadian dollar got a huge jump and the 360 was 400$ in the US and 500$ in canada. I think the elite came out at 550$?

Hold on you mean you can save money by waiting for price drops?
I wish that this would have happened last gen so I would have known what to expect.

I know price drops are inevitable but my timing just blew chunks. 16 months after release and it didnt drop a penny. then 16 months after that it drops 40% which is massive (and gets a few extra perks like hdmi).
 
16 months ago was march 2007, which was before the summer and it was definitely 500$ at the time. I think the first price drop was to 400$ which was more to get on par with the states because of canadian dollar doing so well.
