haha ya they're just cases. I have no idea what Im going to do with them but I get a lot of broken cases from goozex so I figure I have a good stock of replacements now :) and hey they were free. Free is good.

Marvel vs Capcom 2 was unfuckingreal though. I just about went into cardiac arrest when I saw it.
 
So fucking annoyed with living in Toronto.
I'd be ecstatic with any game other than Enchanted Arms and Pirates of the Caribbean for stock during Rogers 2/40 sales.
You guys should consider yourself lucky!
 
New West (by the skytrain) and the one across from me on Royal Oak are still doing it (no idea for how long).

New West had a copy of GTA4 for the PS3 with no manual. I was there about an hour ago, so it might still be around. There was some Wii stuff also, but I'm not really sure what, as I don't own a Wii I wasn't looking all that closely at them.

Mine never has anything good. I might just pop over in a bit just to see if they pulled anything new recently. It's literally, across the street from me so not really a long way to go. lol.
 
Came back from the Pembina South RV location and got DMC4 and Star Wars Complete Saga (both PS3). There's still Haze, Heavenly Sword, GT5:prologue x2, Lair, Kane & Lynch (360) and RE4 (Wii) left.

Excellent. I am interested in the NBA 2K7 case and the FIFA case, assuming they don't have any Rogers stickers on them.

On a side note how the hell do you get so much crap for free? Charm with ladies (men)? Love? Peace? Justice? What-what-in-the-butt?

I'd probably be more excited about this deal if I hadn't spoken with a couple shopkeeps. Told me that kids are waiting outside the store as early as 8 am now, just to buy all the newest stuff and take it over to EB across the street.

Kind of a piss-off.
 
haha there are eight employees at my Rogers including the store manager and I am good friends and a first name basis with all of them. I just asked for a case and one of them said I could have them all.

They are the ones from Edmonton but also a couple from Victoria.
 
Surrey Central here in BC does that too. That's why I prefer Victoria & 41st. But as luck would have it, Surrey Central has the best selection while Victoria & 41st usually has nothing =/
 
I don't think I've personally ever gotten a PV game from RV that didn't have the store # written on with sharpie. It's gotten to be such a pain in the ass to get off I just don't even try anymore.

Rubbing alcohol should get it off without a problem. If not, then it's a more permanent marker than I came across on a Transformers DVD.
 
I don't suggest rubbing alcohol, I had a game that I used rubbing alcohol on and it ended up taking off the top metallic part of the disk making it unplayable. Magic eraser worked fine for me.
 
Contact cement remover has always worked good for me without damaging the disk. Rubbing alcohol did not though. It took off some of the picture.
 
A rogers employee mentioned to me that they should be doing 2/30 on Canada Day only. Not sure if it's nationwide, or some stores or what, but keep your eyes open for next Tuesday!
 
I'll be there at opening on Tuesday then.
My local has Haze/Conflict: Denied Ops/A bazillion copies of GTAIV/Ratchet/Heavenly Sword so it could be great.
 
Canada Day 2/$30 = win.

I know this may seem like an ass move, but what if I technically returned my still sealed copy of Burnout Paradise and RSV2 on Canada Day, assuming there is a 2/30, get my $45.30 back, then re-buy those two games for $30. Would they have to honour it?

I could just say, yeah I changed my mind, I want the games back.
 
so you're suggesting Phorty to basically buy ahead of time, then return for the 2/30? Because when I went in last time, the employee working actually recommended for me to do that. So yeah, they should honor it, as long as its a used game and youve had it less than 30 days.
