Cause I need some PSN and Live points and the TRU store always runs out much too quickly whenever they go on sale.

These sales are awesome for Nintendo Points and XBLA. I'm still sitting on some points, so probably won't grab any this time around... but I said that last time just before dropping $45 to replenish my supply.

I think I'll stock up on Nintendo Points.....and maybe I'll buy a PS2 Memory card as well. The website only lists the single one, does anyone know if they sell the 2 memory card 8MB pack?

If I recall, the 2-pack was on clearance a while ago (the blue & red one). So it would only be remaining stock of what's in stores...unless of course, they're all gone already.

You can't do a trade-3 with accessories, so I think stock will be ok.
 
There is finally enough good games on the Wii shop for me to spend the 10000 points I bought the last time TRU had 25% off. I guess I should buy some more.
 
Sigh. Points cards are not eligible this time around. Oh well. I still have 6000 left from last time.

Also, why didn't anyone tell me the new Professor Layton was out! I didn't bother buying it at TRU, but I plan on hitting BB or FS later today.
 
I just picked up Wii Sports Resort and EA Sports Active for 49.87 each, as I already wanted them. Was bummed to find out the MS points weren't eligible I was going to stock up.

*edit* booger, I forgot all about the new Wii Sports Resort pack that comes with 2 motion controllers. May have to wander back to TrU and either return the Sports Resort I bought, or pick up a 2nd motion controller if it is also on sale and together it comes to less than the normal 69.99 price...

Hmmm, good point. forgot about the bundle, though I haven't heard any details on when/if it was coming to Canada.

But with Motion+ on sale, it will work out to the same/a bit less than the bundle if it's $69.99. However... if store's put the bundle on sale when they get them.... ;)
 
If anyone shops at the TRU in Brampton...they've been giving price adjustments for the Wii/360 Points cards because it is after all supposed to be an accessory (it's under the "Accessory" category in the system as well). Just a heads up for anyone in the area :)

I was sad when I went yesterday and they didn't qualify :( Oh well, at least I got the 360 controller. And even after asking you guys, I completly forgot about looking for PS2 memory cards. Sigh I'll have to go back another time.
 
Does TRUS sell the PS Eye? I don't see it online, and I'm wondering if it's cheaper than the $32.99 Blockbuster price with this sale? I wouldn't mind picking one up since EyePet looks interesting...

I just noticed at my local TRU that they did have some accessories. Hopefully you've checked out yours & found what you needed. The traveler's case looks pretty nice.

TONS of 360 points cards left at TRU in Kingston. I picked up 1 2800 and 2 1400 cards. There was probably another 10 2800 and 15 1400 point cards left. Tons of XBL subscription cards also.

About 5 Wii Points cards. This was as of 11 AM Monday Morning

There were still a few left at Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth, if anyone lives remotely nearby :p
 
Unrelated to the 25% off, but on the weekend I ended up buying the white slim PS2 (my third PS2, my other two are still functioning haha) from TRU since I missed the Walmart sale...and then today I bought some Nintendo Points.

I called Dufferin Mall in the morning and they said they had lots of Nintendo points, but who knows what stock is like now. I bought mine from Cedarbrae and couldn't see how much were left anyway.
 
Game_fanatic, it's on sale right now for $59.87 (good for people who missed out on the Walmart sale). I figured since it came with a game and the microphones, I would be saving more money than if I just bought the normal black slim PS2, even if I generally have no interst in the Singstar games. I was going to get the black PS2 until the sales associate mentioned how the white one was on sale for the same price. I think the flyer only mentioned the silver/black one, but I wasn't going to complain.

As of Sunday the Toys R Us at Yonge/Eglinton had at least one more of the white bundle left (there may have been more on the top shelf, though). You should just call a bunch of Toys R Us' to see if they have any, because I know I Cedarbrae had one until recently (was gone when I went back today). Maybe other locations have them too?

And I also forgot, I did manage to find the 2 pack 8MB Memory cards for $29.99 :D Lol no wonder why I never have any money, as soon as I get paid I spend it all. -_-
