[Canada] Wal-Mart: Assassin's Creed - $30

Decent game, even if it was a little too repetitive. If you bother to do everything in the game you'll get about 20 hours out of it (that includes hunting down all the flags...)

$30 is great for anyone on the fence, but $20 would be a no-brainer. :)

I really wanted this to go on sale at EB. I got the guide cheap and it looks pretty cool but I don't want to spend to much on it. I'm still looking for like 15-20 price range.

I've too many negative things about this game to drop $30 on it...I'll wait for it to hover around $20, then take the plunge. Thanks Firestorm, I love how you credit RFD whenever a deal is posted here in CAG, giving credit where credit is due. Cheers mate!

30$ for Assassins Creed to expensive??? This game is Prince of Persia meets Hitman on 360... I loved this game. Not the best Ive ever played, but for 30$ if you have never played it, grab it. Heck I paid 50$ for it and dont regret my purchase...

If you dont want to buy it, go rent it at your video store, its an old game now, tons of copies should be lying around. But a definate must play.

Tough critics...
It's a Ubisoft title, so it'll be $20 by Christmas.
I'll take your word and I'll get it then :p

There was a lengthy debate about this game, maybe here....maybe neoGAF. The argument put forward was to play it without the radar or map. Turns out the game was never meant to have one, making you truly rely on gathering info and using your senses (you are given many subtle clues along the way--both visually and audibly) but when they had people play the game they were so unaccustomed to NOT having a radar they all freaked. Management made them add it at the last minute.

Do yourself a favour and either play (or replay) the game without the radar. It will be much different. With it, the game becomes a simple "run to the glowing icons, gather info, run to the target and kill them". Gets old fast.

Once you learn to parry however you can basically walk through the combat if you're patient. That criticism still stands (the argument is to refrain from using parry, but i couldn't stop myself).

Do this and the game is worth much more than $30 IMHO. Cheers.
