Blue Dragon and Wii Play are both $40 at Zellers. Pretty good deal. Blue Dragon is $30 off from normal price and Wii Play ($20 off) is cheaper than a standalone WiiMote!

MLB 07 for PS3 is $39.99 too.

Buy something else with it that is $10+ and use the Facebook/TD coupon for $10 off $50 or more.

I may pick up Blue Dragon.
 
Are you serious? I just picked Blue Dragon up from zellers last night!.....it definately wasn't $39.99! I also finally picked up wiiplay last week for $59.99.........Is the scanning price $39.99?
 
Hmmm their website doesn't have the new flyer up yet. I'll have to check out an actual store tomorrow. Perhaps, I'll recieve the new flyer with the paper tomorrow.

No. They even have 'Regular Price: $59.99' and 'Regular Price: $69.99' beside them. MLB 07 for PS3 is also $39.99

this is some coupn for zellers. seems to be legit(from td) but there is some debate on rfd, but people are using them. its kinda like the canadian tire coupon(dont feel like finding the link). you have to spend a little extra though, but might as well. Since i let you guys in on the coupn, make sure that no one buys all of them in montreal... also if the title can fit in mlb 07 for the ps3 should be added.(by the way i think sonic for ps3 and another title might be also 39.99(for a while now though). Weird how zellers still have ps1 and ps2 games mad expensive, but the discontinue Wii games a few months after release, drop all kinds of prices on the new stuff?? If their new theory is to liquidate the new stock cheaper, but keep the old crap expensive till someone buys it? oh yeah someone will buy that copy of madden97 on n64 for 39.99.

Anyone see any old games in their area(sorry to slightly change topics for a sec)? mine used to have virtual boy, game gear (for years after they stopped making them)even long after the famous sega saturn disapearance(when the sega saturn came out, zellers carried it, then a few months later, the games all disapeared. It wasnt even discontinued at that point. they still kept other stuff though)
 
Yeah, that coupon is legit. Zellers employees should have received an email about it. I used it to buy Metroid Prime 3.

Just use it with something for $10 and it's like getting it free. Or buy a Wii Points / Microsoft Points card.

It says on purchases of 50 or over, though. Are you thinking about another coupon?
 
I think the guy means buy one of the games for 40 bucks, add in a $10 item (like batteries) to hike it up to $50, use the coupon thus, rendering it a relatively free item.

I know I plan on doing this. Cheap Wii-mote afterall. : p

I think they have a stipulation where you can't use coupons with special deals (ie pricematching). Just hope they match the competitor's price by 110 per cent instead (yea right : p).

deals starts tomorrow but I already (just a while ago) went and got the game. I'll ask for the difference next week when I drop by zellers :p
 
I was able to get Wii play today, however they wouldn't accept the coupon because they said it doesn't apply to video games or most electronics. The electronic things it does apply to were cameras and batteries, thats about it. Oh well.

Is there MS points available in $10 denominations? If so, would this work:

Buy $10 MS points card
Wii Play

Total = $50, thus eligible for the $10 off coupon.

Then, return Wii Play (reason: oh, my friend wanted Wii Sports, but you don't have that here). Get $40 back, keep the MS points card?

That's false. Someone on RFD phoned head office, it works on electronics. I used the coupon to buy Metroid Prime 3 in Winnipeg.

never try to price match at walmart (alteast the one near me in Langford)

Picked up Wii Play and a nunchuck at Zellers in Kingston on my way to Queen's U, no problem using the coupon. Wii Play was $10 cheaper then a Wiimote was seperately :D

Was tempted to get Blue Dragon but decided against it since I am so far behind on the RPGs I already got, like Enchanted Arms, Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy X-2 and XII
 
Thanks for the heads up guys! I picked up Blue Dragon today despite the fact that I won't be getting my 360 until sometime between my birthday in late October and chirstmist.

But I figured I wouldn't find that game cheaper then this anytime soon and jumped at it. Better to get it for $40 now and have it for when I get the system then to spend $69.99 on it later

Obviously, take the Zellers flyer with you. Saves time for the staff to phone a Zellers store, and confirm. They will PM on the spot if you have visual proof.
