Can't decide! NBA Street or Crackdown?!

RiCeBo1

CAGiversary!
I was going to get both, but now I decided to save money and just buy only one. Which one is the better game? I've played both demos and it seems NBA Street was more fun to me, but then again they're only demos. NBA Street also seems to be getting a lot more better reviews then Crackdown too. Which will be a better purchase for me?

Well since you preferred the Street demo I'd say Street. Personally, I prefer more of a sim-style b-ball game, so I'll be going for Crackdown. I'd also guess Street drops in price first, sports games usually don't take as long.

You obviously like sports games. Last sports game I bought was Madden 2000 because it was forced bundles with my PS2. So Im going to buy Crackdown.

Ill bet you will be Happy with Street though.

oh my #%# god, how many more of these this game or crackdown threads are we going to have? what are we on now? #25?

First one I have seen. Maybe you are on the site too much?

Well, haven't the NBA Street titles gone down in price fairly quickly? I probably would purchase Crackdown in anticipation that a "sports" title would drop in price much faster.

also to consider if u really want the halo 3 beta, that will only be availble for a limited time. so if u wait on crackdown till a price drop that halo 3 beta wont be available possibly

You can be safe with NBA Street or take a chance and enjoy something new with Crackdown. You'll likely enjoy either one, so make a decision based on that.

If you haven't noticed my gamercard by now, I chose Crackdown. Why? Because BB are idiots and they didn't receive any copies of NBA Street yet. Oh well, Crackdown is a blast to play, plus getting H3 beta access is sweet as well.

Why don't you take a look at NBA 2k7, much better then street. Anyway my opinion.

Crackdown for some reason doesn't seem to have next gen feel.

Street games don't come once a year (except for the NFL street series), so they take a little while longer to drop in price.

I say rent them both, but one week at a time. Devote the entire rental week to each game and then decide. Usually works for me.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see you already made up your mind. Oh well, at least your happy with your decision.

NBA Street is a nice game but I rather just wait an invest on a sim b-ball since that what Street seems to moving towards. Also I am not to happy with the create a player mode. Crackdown just looks and plays like a fun shoot'em up. Both I say which ever one you chose you going to enjoy it so much and by the time you are done with it the other should be available at lower price.

I didn't like the Street Demo... there was something off with it at least for me. I liked the last version but this just seems off. As far as price dropping, I would figure both would drop around the same time. Street doesn't follow the typical Sports pricedrop because it is not a 2007 Sim title. They tend to stay the same price long after the season has ended.
