Capcom Classics Collection (C3) & Tecmo Classic Arcade
What the hell? Is Tecmo including a neutered version of Tecmo Bowl because it doesn't have the NFL license anymore?
It's the arcade version. That never had the NFL's blessing. People are going to be dissapointed I think when they get home and realize it's not the same game. The arcade version is radically different.

Hoping for the arcade version of Dragon Spirit...from the screenshot it looks like the arcade or Turbographix version, right? NES Dragon Spirit owns, and from what I've read, the other versions are harder :D

I could see picking this up for GBA for sure. Too bad no DS release, it'd be nice to have it using the whole screen.

It's funny... the Capcom one has more games (and in my mind, better games) and retails for 10 dollars LESS than the Tecmo one.

Where does Tecmo get off thinking their collection is so great to charge 29.99 for it, when both Midway and Capcom have put out amazing collections for 19.99?

Because they know peopel will buy it and that the "hardcore" fans will buy enough copies at $29.99 that it can be later dropped to $19.99 without much notice.

Thought Capcom Classics Collection is the Best (1), Namco Collection (2), Tecmo Collection (3) and Midway Collection 3 (4th). Also, Mega Man X Collection coming soon.

PS. I wish Taito Classics Collection HIT the US someday cuz i am big Taito Fans :)

Wow, I don't know how I missed this. The capcom collection looks great. Too bad they didn't put SF1 on there.

Also does anyone know what that pirate game is like and if it's any good?

Is it Pirate Ship Higemaru?

I didn't see it mentioned, but the Namco colelction has Pac-Mania, and the ungodly awesome Galaga '88 as unadvertised unlockable extras.

Did anyone get the Capcom Collection today?

Not sure if I want to make the trip to the mall tonight, I might just go tommorrow... dosen't seem like Best Buy will get this game in too, so no using any coupons =/

my excitement has died down a little bit... still not happy that they put three Street Fighter 2s on this thing, as well as three Ghouls and Ghosts games.. where is Magic Sword, or Saturday Night Slammasters?

Probably on Capcom Classic Collection Vol 2...

Picked this off of GameFAQ's, someone said it was in the newest Game Informer... (mine still hasn't shown up)

"Capcom has delighted gamers with its Capcom Classics on PS2 and Xbox, and the PSP is getting its turn. Aside from offering old gems like 1942, Final Fight, and Street Fighter II, this handheld collection will throw in titles like Strider and Side Arms, which weren't on the compilations for the larger systems."

If true, looks like I'll be buying this twice, can't beat arcade perfect SF 2 and Final Fight on the road.

There is a trailer on the console version that says it's coming to the psp, and it shows a bunch of games that aren't in the collection.

I'm sure the consoles will get these games in vol 2 or later.
