Ok so I grabbed this the other day. I pop it in to my DS today and play a little Bionic Commando. I shut down and go back to it a little later. No save points or resume or anything!!!??!? I realize that the original didn't have save points but this is a portable game and I honestly don't know if I would ever sit down long enough with this game on a portable to finish it again in this fashion. It would have been nice to play in little bursts but now I'm thinking of getting rid of this already. Complete shit IMO....would it have been that hard to add a resume feature to the game?

This game is a waste of money at $20... it will clearance and it will clearance hard.

I bought it and I was severely disappointed with it. It has more problems than just no sleep mode.
No sleep mode at all? what'the key combo for sleep mode normally? L+R+Start+Select?
I think that is Nintendo's thing...not Capcom's. Works with mostly the NES classics and stuff like that.
Doesn't it sleep automatically when you close the DS?
That only works with DS games.

I haven't seen this game yet at places like CircuitCity or Target. I guess I should look harder, so far I'm getting the impression this isn't worth it as opposed to the NES ones. I'll go read more reviews.

In Link to the Past GBA, you need to select Sleep Mode in the menu. Guess not all the GBA games would support that?

It has virtually no front end or presentation... it's about as bare bones as you can get which is a shame as the PS2 / PSP ones are full of extras and a very stylish front end.

Strider has slowdown and f'ed up graphics... maybe it was like this on the NES version too, but I noticed some horrible slowdown on the first level. Also, the graphics kind of glitch when you cut someone in half.

As someone else said, Bionic Commando is way too long to shot through it in one playthrough.

I also had problems with the games themselves... there is only three of them, and imo they feel extremely dated. I loved all the games as a kid but I don't know, I feel a bit let down. Strider is one I remember being kinda cool when I was kid, however it just sucks now, so that brings it down to $20 for two games.

Wha? I didn't even know this was being released. I will pay $20 for Bionic Commando alone, save points or not.
Im glad I bought the GBC Bionic Commando cart last year for $3. Now I can avoid this collection entirely.
The GBC Bionic Commando is a different game from the NES version. Good game though. I was looked forward to this for Bionic and Mighty, but I can wait for a price drop.

This is your best bet... imo, this game is worth $10, and not a penny over that.

No, it's not because it only has 3 games, its because Capcom didn't even try... you pick the game off a black screen with some horrible looking images of 3 NES carts. That's it.

After seeing the treatment Capcom gives the PS2 / PSP version with art galleries, tips, sound tests, something else I can't remember, and a stylish front end, this looks like it was thrown together in someones basement in 5 minutes.

I bought this game the day some other CAG said it had come out, and a wave of disappointment rushed over me. I think the only game I truly had a fun time with was Mighty Final Fight... Bionic Commando just feels old and dated, imo.

Where is Gargoyle's Crest 2?!?
