I"m half considering now contacting all the game companies for disc only games that I have to see if I can get some cases and manuals. Hey you never know
I had the same assignment in grade school but it was tradition for us to send a letter to Nerf saying our gun was broken. They would send you a BRAND new nerf gun in box back to the school with a letter that said please return the broken which none of us did. I believe this was 3rd grade but it was fun, we kept passing it down to the lower grade when the assignment came up. However, they never sent you the same gun. Usually it was totally different model.
now see thats not cool. One thing to tell a company how generally pleased you are with them and there products and for them to do something nice for you as in replace your defective product but for you not to return the defective product/lie to them so you can get something for free is not cool
i dunno. that capcom sounds like he has attitiude.
Why would you say that?
If it is because of the name edited by me, I did that. There was a legalese disclaimer at the bottom of their email (probably corporate policy) stating how emails are intended for the addressee, contain confidential information, etc. So I figured it was in my best interest not to include his email address, name and phone number over the internet!
I'm just happy with their service.

This one had me laughing for a LONG time.
I emailed Capcom asking for a Manual for Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for the PS2 since I bought the game used and without the manual, and gave up on looking for it some time ago. I got a reply saying that it had been sent to my house. I didn't know they had such great customer service, Thanks OP. THis almost makes me feel bad about playing KOF instead of Street Fighter.
Mine got here today. I mae sure to send a "Thank you" email
I got the street fighter arcade stick along with a friend and his came with a poster with the SF cast and mine didnt (probably borrowed by an EB employee).
I emailed nubytech asking about it and I get a reply saying they discontinued the poster, but will mail me an extra they have. the next morning they even sent me an email letting me know the sent it DHL ground.
I just e-mailed both Capcom and Nubytech regarding MvC2 and the SFAC Arcade Stick respectively. Hopefully I get a reply from both of them. I'm thinking of actually making another e-mail to Capcom regarding Capcom vs SNK 2 because I need the insert and manual for that game as well. Hopefully this works, but if not, it's fine. Thanks CAGers!
HI Darren, we actually stopped producing the poster….we have some spares here that we were selling on our NubyTech Outlet store……do you have a paypal account? We basically charge $9.99 shipped for the poster payable through paypal.
I once mailed Hulk Hogan a letter to his hospital when he broke his ribs when Earthquake crushed him and he sent me a photographed picture back.
Then when he felt better, he personally came to my house and gave my mom the flying elbow and DDT'ed my cats before giving the "Big Boot" to my 7 year old sister. (Well, not really... but the 1st part is true)
