The Guide

1. Q. What are GPT sites?
A.
GPT sites are "get paid to" sites. They pay you for doing certain things such as completing offers, competing in contests, referring members or just being a member!

2. Q. How do these sites work? How do I know they aren't just a scam?
A.
These sites work in a very simple way. You complete an offer, the advertiser pays the GPT site and the GPT site pays you.

3. Q. How do I know these sites aren't a scam?
A.
For the most part, these sites aren't scams. Your best bet is to google search to find out if they are scams or not. You could also check out the forums for proof of payment. All the sites I'm going to list here aren't scams so don't worry about that.

4. Q. What do I need to be a member of these sites?
A.
Nothing, but an e-mail address. I highly suggest you register with the GPT sites using valid info. They won't spam you with anything so there's no harm in giving them your address/email address(to pay you).

5. Q. How do I do offers?
A.
This is probably the simplest thing to do on GPT sites. Simply go to the offers page and click on one. The websites will start asking you for information. Fill it out and then it'll ask you a series of questions. Just say no to each one and when you reach a page that says something along the lines of "Congratulations, Mr. XXX your prize is waiting for you" you are done with that offer. You can then close the window.

WARNING: Don't use your real e-mail address. These offer sites WILL spam your e-mail address. I suggest making one or two long e-mail addresses on gmail.com and using those 2.

6. Hints, Tips and Tricks
-The "dot" trick is your friend. In case you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, it's just a way for you to make your main e-mail address into many different e-mail addresses. For example, [email protected] is the same at [email protected]. The offer sites cannot differentiate between the one without a period and the one without. Using a different e-mail address for each offer will increase the chances of it crediting. That's why using a long e-mail address is best.
-Always clear cookies after doing an offer. This will increase your chances of offers crediting. If you even want to go as far as closing your browser and starting it up again after each offer then you'll have offers crediting left and right.

The Sites

1. SimpleGPT

A fairly new GPT site that just opened up in July 2008. As the title says, it is a very simple GPT site. It holds monthly referral contests and monthly offer contests.
Pros:
-Offers credit very fast compared to other sites
-Offers are hand picked by the Admin
-Great contests

Cons:
-None

Verdict:
5/5

2. Rewards1

Not a new GPT, but also not an old one. Rewards1 has been around since November of '07. Great site! The offers are worth a lot more than on most sites and the prizes can be anything from Amazon and a multitude of other merchants.
Pros:
-Offers credit very fast compared to most sites
-Offers have very high value
-Holds monthly contests for the community
-Can special order almost anything as a prize

Cons:
-Sometimes they take a week or two to get you your item

Verdict
4.5/5

Bump!

Just got $9.00 for buying referrals with Walkie Talkies. Not bad :D. Walkie Talkies are unlimited BTW. As long as you keep getting Swat Cash you can buy as many walkie talkies as you want.

Just bumping. One of my new referrals is on a role :). He's made himself $26.50 in 3 days and I get 20% of that. Do the math =D. That's just a referral I bought too.

Just got these offers to approve on SWATCASH

I've received the 2 1600 points cards already. Got one 4 days after I ordered it and the second one 2 days after. The site is legit. They do not spam your with email or anything. The offers, on the other hand, do. Just create a junk email to use for the offers.
