I'm wondering if this little thing will increase in value as time goes by. I saw a bunch of them go for $100 on ebay a few days before the game was released. Now, they go for about $50-60, sometimes $70, but rarely over that.

Do you think this special package will increase in value as those copies on ebay go away and more hardcore collectors keep their copies, therefore making any of them available a true gem? I think I'll hold on to my brand new one for a few months / years, and then see how much I can get out of it.

What do you think?

I think it will definitely go up, because you're right, all the people that get one will not ever want to sell it, so eventually there won't be many left.

Then, when the next big Castlevania game comes out, probably on the DS, the demand for this is going to skyrocket.

Well, it's well worth it. Just the music CD alone makes it all worth it! The game is awsome btw. Yuzo Koshiro has done it again!

I was watching that one too just out of curiosity.

I think we have a WoW: CE on our hands. Though I think a sealed version will easily double what an opened one goes for. Mainly because everyone who wants one is opening them, so there won't be that many that are sealed. I mean who wouldn't want to open it and enjoy it? It's a fucking cool package.

I got mine in the mail today from EBgames. It was sent in a "padded" envelope. Not cool. I'm going to give this one to my sister (Castlevania II is one of her favorite games). She won't care about the collector value. I got another from the local EB Games that's in decent shape, thankfully.

One of my friends, who is a die-hard Castlevania collector, didn't get his, so I'm going to try to get him one. Wish me luck.

God, I'm sick of scalping. >_

Is the stylus supposed to be a pair of tweezers? I opened the package, and used the inner part of the stylus to remove a splinter than was inbedded in my finger.

Before all the collectors gasp, everything else is in pristine condition and a sterilized my tools in a Derek Stiles-approved fashion.

That last sentence was probably the geekiest thing I ever said.

That auction mentioned the stylus was extendable? Huh, didn't know bout that, can someone confirm? I have the pack, but didn't notice myself.

There's no way I'd part with mine, being a big fan of CV. But, I can't understand people paying 50$, let alone 100$ for it. That money would be better spent on complete copies of NES Castlevanias for example.

Well the stylus has two parts, an inner white section, with the 'tweezer' end i mentioned surrounded by a clear plastic sheath. So yes, it is expendable.

Sounds kinda odd, I'll check it out later today. Also I noticed the stylus is made by HORI. I know they are known for the real good screen protectors, so I thought that was cool. For me this whole pack is better then anything coming out later, even Halo 3's lil helmet thing. This is a great pack.

Wow I wish I could have bought like 50 of these. My $70 BIN's (bonus AND game) have pretty much been snatched in mere hours after posting.

I preordered 10 copies, sold 6 bunldes( game and bonus) at $85 each, 1 bonus for $55( kept the game for myself) and have 3 left on ebay, If they dont sell, I will just hold onto them for a few weeks because once all of the cheap bonus packs are gone, the price will increase on these.

You should keep one or two sealed in reserve. In like 2 years, I highly doubt there will be any that are sealed so a sealed bonus will be rare.

I thought about raising the price of the BIN to $85 but after opening the package, I felt the contents weren't worth all that money. Didn't want the buyer to have buyer's remorse on me for paying mega bucks on something that is only worth about $25.

Am I the only one that thinks the value will crash on these? They had insane amounts of pre-orders for these, and my local EB had stacks of these. I guesstimate they must've made at least 100k of em. Everybody I know that cares about CV picked it up. Also I've seen kickass goodies that were way rarer go for next to nothing on eBay (I picked up the Xenosaga 1 artbook somewhat recently for $10).

Scalpers suck.

I'm still looking for one to give to my friend who didn't get his... preorder item hoarding happens way too often for my liking. Any of you with extras and a conscience, check my list.
