Castlevania for GBA

nintendolink007

CAGiversary!
Not really just looking for the cheapest price (although it would be good), but i'm trying to track down all the Castlevanias for Gameboy Advance, brand new if i can get lucky. Besides eBay and Half.com, what store still carries these series?

basically.... none :/

they are all out of print I believe...

a while back you could pick up castlevania AOS at toys r us and COM at K-mart... but that was months ago!

HOD you will have a hard enough time tracking down mint complete much less sealed.

good luck on your search though! I made the same one and had to settle for mint complete for all 3.... great games though!

There are 3 games and Circle of the Moon will sell used for $12.99 (before coupons) at EBgames.

I'm sure its the worst of the three but if you're looking to just get one it would be a place to start.

I thought I heard HoD was the worst of the three. I have CotM and absolutely enjoyed it. I'm looking for the other two now. I'm so pissed I passed on the $18 copy of AoS at TRU thinking it would drop to $10 at some point.

Circle of the Moon is without question the weakest of the three in my opinion. The other two are fairly even, but are defintiely a head above CotM

imo, HoD is the one that lacks the most. I enjoyed CotM due to the fact that you could unlock different playing modes. I hated the fact that they made 2 castles...them being the exact same in HoD, but I still loved the game.

One of the things I liked about CotM over HoD is that the bosses are actually challenging. I'm about 95% or more though HoD and all the bosses I've fought were rather easy. While in CotM I remember some of the bosses being tough enough that I had to die about 6 times or more before I beat them.

IMO,

AoS > HoD > CotM

You absolutely MUST have an SP to play CotM because it is so dark. If I'd have had an SP when I played through it, I may have liked it better than HoD. If you only want one though, go with AoS.

Try on here, I got all three mint complete for good prices. Just make a thread in the trading forum and just wait a while.

This is true, I had a CAGer was going to send me all 3 complete for $60 in EB credit (great deal for me because that's about $30 out of pocket) . . . then I realized that I wasn't going to play them all the seriously and I just bought Circle cart only for $10ish at EB (with credit) and I was right. I've played it about 2 hours and moved on.

But its not really my thing.

Yeah, I've been playing on my DS and backlit hardware is absolutely necessary.

Anyway, to the OP: These games were hard as fuck for me to find back in may... I ended up finding them all sealed and I paid $80 total. CAG is actually a good place (trade board) to find games like this, but Ebay is also somewhat helpful... just be sure that you know how to spot a bootleg. Half.com is another good source as is Amazon.com's merchants... It'll probably cost you since they're rare, but they are all really really worth it.
