Castlevania/Metroidish sidescoller?

I'm looking for some great sidescolling action/puzzle game in the vain of classic Castlevania and Metroid. Yall got some suggestions. Harmony of Despair is on sale on XBL but I am seeing some bad reviews for single player.

This can be on any console 360, PS3, Wii. What are our options?

Btw, it even has the metroid gimmick of being stuck until you find a special power to advance to next part! The music is epic also and one early part sounds very similar to norfair!!

I'm not a huge metriodvania type of guy, but Shadow Complex is freaking awesome. Castlevania symphony of the night is on XBLA, too

The Outland demo is pretty good.

There's a great game called Aquaria that you can pick up for Mac or PC, it's on steam can be played on most computers, I highly recommend it.

Outland is very good. I played an hour or so of it last night. I think I'll end up liking it more than Shadow Complex if it's this good all the way through.

Astroman on XBLIG seems to fit what you're looking for. At 240 MSP, it's a hell of a deal. Give the trial a shot.
