On the XBL Deal at Best Buy where you get $20 off a game, is that included with the $70 Starter Kit? Because that would be a really good deal to get Rainbow Six, Crimson Skies, and 12 Months for XBL for only $80, not including GGCs. So will that work, or is it just the bad starter kits?

I went by my local Best Buy and grabbed one. I'm looking for Mortal Kombat: DA (GC) - went to 2 BBs and neither had it for GC.

I'm definately going to get Red Dead Revolver from BB after PM to CC and the $5 GGC coupon.

i already have rainbow six 3 and that game is so addicting. i might pick up the starter kit thing for 39.99 for a friend......he wants to get on live...so its only for 3 months??? but rainbow six 3 comes with a 2 month card anyways. so 5 and im sure they offer you more when u call to cancel

well the cc near me is already sold out of red dead revolvers so i guess i'm goin to do my first pricematching at bb
 
I'm going to grab me Red Dead Revolver. I'm just going to PM+GGC at BB.

Real quick question. Does BB ever call the store you're PMing to check if the item is in stock? Because that's the "store policy." I've PMed at BB to Target once LONG ago and they didn't call.
 
at my CC they had red dead revolver, and soul calibur II. at BB they had sonic mega collection for 19.99 (-5 for GGC), and KOTOR PC for 19.99, along with ico for 14.99. I picked up KOTOR, Sonic mega collection, and soul calibur II for total 55$. Not bad.
 
alright i went to bb to pricematch red dead revolver and showed them the flyer where cc shows it for 30 bucks and yet they still had to call even though it shows it right in the flyer. anyone else have this problem?
 
I went to BB to pricematch TRU for Conflict Desert Storm 2. They didn't call which is good because I want to get it for the XBOX and not the PS2.
 
How come when you put the Xbox Live Starter kit in your cart the kit shows up as $31.99 - $31.99 0.00 but the Rainbow Six shows up as $39.99 and that's your total? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

It's not a problem. They are calling to see if the item is in stock, because if it's not they won't pricematch(the vast majority of the time).

I just pricematched Red Dead Revolver today at Best Buy, went along very smoothly. They called Circuit City and asked if the item was in stock. I guess it depends on which employee you get and how lazy they are, as to whether or not they'll actually call.
 
this week sucked first both circuit cities near me were sold out of red dead revolver for this whole week and when i went to pricematch at best buy was denied because those damn circuit cities were sold out and one of the circuit cities even said that they don't have such a game as red dead revolver and if they did then the price would be 49.99 so turns out tomorrow is my last and final f*ckin day to buy this game
 
I just got done playing it for a few hours, it's a damn incredible game. I really hope you're able to pick it up for $30. Very sweet that I was able to. It's a really great game.

f*ck best buy for their dumbass employees and f*ck circuit city for their dumbass employees also because went to pricematch today and they had some dumb bitch working behind the counter and i asked her to call circuit city to pricematch red dead revolver and she said well its probably 49.99 if it says so on the tag so i told her to call anyways because their flyer said its 29.99 and she gave me a look like i was lying or something so she called asked for it and the employee at circuit city said its 49.99 and she doesn't know what i'm talkin about even though i went to circuit city a couple of minutes before to see if they had any red dead revolvers left and it said blatantly right on top of the shelf RED DEAD REVOLVER 29.99 so this is the 4th time i tried pricematching and still haven't gotten anything so i just slammed the game back on the shelf and left i wish i could go straight up to the manager at circuit city and just slap them then just walk out
