If you buy either of the Pirates of the Caribbean Blu-ray movies you get a $15 gift card. The deal is supposed to be if you buy them both you get a $15 gift card but I bought both and got 2 $15 gift cards. They ring up in the system $14.99 with $15 gift card.

Ok, I went back, and my CC must be really messed up.

This time the computer showed I get the card, yet made the price of the movies 30.00 total...wtf?

I'm not complaining though, I just got both movies + 1 15.00 card for 30.00 + tax

no go at the West Nyack CC...my wife came back with 1 card and it wasnt even the Pirates card since they were out:cry: ....but she did say the girl was scanning and rescanning the dvds a few times so i figure they may have been on to it and she was overriding it

After I read this topic I went to the local circuit city. Very oddly they had a sign in front of both of the rows pirates was in saying they were 14.99 each. So I went up to the checkout and the lady rang them up at 29.99 each with no indication of getting any gift cards. I told her they said 14.99 in front where they were and she sent me to customer service. When I was there the girl working behind the counter said they were you buy both and you recieve a $15 giftcard for each movie and thats why it said 14.99 on the sign. Like others have mentioned the movie is 14.99 but you have to buy a $15 giftcard which equals as if you were getting a giftcard for free. So it all worked out and he location I went to is the one in Miami,FL across from dadeland mall.

saw this on avsforums last night and picked up both movies with 2 free gift cards at the hicksville, ny location this evening. Even better, as said, they ring up 14.99 each so less tax too.

I had 2 different cashiers try this at 2 diferrent registers. First time no gift card and the second time one gift card for both DVD's. Needless to say I passed but thanks OP for the note. It looks like soime systems have been corrected. BTW. This is the Sunnyvale, CA store.

This happened to me too today. The exact same thing, the girl even went to her manager to verify the promotion then came back and gave me 2 gift cards, even though the ad says one gift card w/ both movies purchased....

Looks like the Bay Area is working properly. I tried Fremont and Eastridge with no go...
