CC- Save $5-$20 on ALL games??

over at my local CC I was shocked to see the video game section in order and really neat. It turns out the moved all games 19.99 and under into the bargin bin. It seems that CC like BB may just want people to look at the games that cost more then 30 bucks.

I don't think that would work for me. I have 2 stores in my location that would price match. wal-mart and fred meyers. Since there are no other stores in my area, i don't get any weekly ads in the mail. BTW it's 89.99 at www.frys.com. I will keep hunting. I have 30 days till my B-day to find a good deal.
 
My CC was a complete MESS but they were working on rearranging all the video games it looked like. I found a copy of DOA2 for 14.99 that had obviously been there since the Ps2 launch because it was hidden away behind a million copies of The Hulk.

I picked up
Unlimited Saga 9.99
SC 2 for Gamecube 14.99
Castlevania:LOI 14.99
 
The CC I went to today was a bit messy as well. Someone or some people actually opened the games, shrinkwrap and seal and took the cd inside. I didn't see them do it, but they leave a quite a few cases like that here and there.

I did manage to pick up a Star Wars/Tetris game if anyone is interested in getting. :eek:
 
Always ask to scan. It's incredibly rare to find a game correctly priced. Even something new like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is probably incorrectly priced.
 
Finally made to my CC. Very dissapointed by how unorganized everything was. Some of the price listings were easily 20 to 30 dollars off.

Also, some of the games were buried behind others. I found the last copy of Wild Arms 3 buried under 5 copies of something else. Same for Ape Escape 2.

I scanned a lot of games but most of them are already posted here so I'll just list the ones I don't remember seeing.

GunValkrie scanned full priced.
Toe Jam and Earl III scanned full price

GunGriffon Blayze and Silpheed scanned at 2.99

I had it scanned tonight, it is back up to $19.99.
