Here's a great deal that you'll have to work for at least for a couple days it seems.

If you order the Xbox Live V3 kit from circuitcity.com you get a headset, 3 months of live, demos of mech assault and moto GP. Plus, this week you get R63 free with it. The cost of the kit online is $31.99 ($39.99 in store) but when you go to check out it rings up as $39.99. I called the phone number and was told that the $8 difference just hasn't been updated and will be credited to the orders of this item in 2-3 days.

It's a great deal if you're new to Live or R63.

No, the 3 month one is 40, and is the exact same one mentioned in the first place.
 
The 2 month at 31.99 with Rainbow Six is well worth it...the headphones by themselves cost $30.00, This is a very very very good deal when you include a game that retails for $8.00 more than the price you are paying...

I checked out the kit at a Best Buy store on Saturday and was printed on the top of the box. I don't recalled correctly, but I think the subscription need to be activated by August or September of 2005.
 
UPDATE:

Just talked to Circuit City and they said the price is a mistake. How it's supposed to work is that you buy R6:3 for $39.99 and get the kit free. It's only an $8 difference and still a good deal if you need a headset, but if you are that stingy about $8 then oh well.
 
I printed the page out and went to circuit city and they price matched it for me in store. 31.99 for 3 month live kit and .01 for Rainbow six 3. You may want to try that.

I'm surprised they matched that for you in store when it clearly states Web Special only.

They did look at the "web special only" but I think it's store policy to match the website price. I always ask if they do and usually the manager will do it.
