CDs suck
I scratched my NIN Pretty Hate Machine CD, and now track 10 doesnt play right, it kinda skips a part.
Actually, error correction magically fixes small errors in CDs. It is people who don't take care of their CDs (and don't make backups) that suck.

That's why you lube it up before you try to make sweet love to the hole in the middle.

Yeah I've ruined a couple of CDs, I think we've all been there - but all in all, I love the format itself. But it's annoying as hell to all the sudden put a CD in and a random track won't play correctly because of some scratch that you never even knew existed before that. Either way, I still buy them all the time as opposed to downloading.
