Oh hai. I think I'm gonna make a chicken tamale casserole today.
At first I wondered why you would bother messing with the perfection that is tamale, but on second thought I am intrigued by this casserole idea. Tell me more.

Spiderman 3 is possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. One thing is for sure .. it's the only movie I've seen that made me fall asleep in the theater.

Unrelated: Stromboli Island looks like a far less tempting place to visit then the name would suggest.

I saw Spider-Man 3 in a packed theater on opening weekend here in Boston, and most people thought it was the funniest thing they ever saw. Non-stop laughing, even at the "serious" parts.

That's generally a bad sign.

Yeah, but all people who live in Boston are callus to human emotion.

Gerry Rafferty is so awesome. Back when i played the saxophone one of my goals was to be able to play the solo from Baker Street.

You haven't seen a lot of movies then. Spiderman 3 was awful. Though I saw part of it on TV the other night and it wasn't as bad as I remembered. Part of that was probably due to the fact that I'd remembered it as being so ungodly awful that I didn't plan to ever see it again. Part of the disappointment was probably due to high expectations, especially to have Venom in the film, and then being let down after I'd paid for the tickets.

In other news, The Book of Eli was surprisingly decent. A lot of it felt like I was watching someone play Fallout 3. Which was cool and weird at the same time.

In Spidy 3 I still can't believe
they killed off Venom... they should have made it a cliffhanger with Eddie Brock assuming the persona
Man, tax and shipping kind of kills hastings deals for me. :(
Does your local tax charge like 74%? Cause when I bought Dead Space and Burnout Paradise, it was maybe $5 total for shipping AND tax.

Is the hastings blu ray deal on? Did they restock stuff?

Yes it's on, and it seems they restocked. Tax and shipping was going to add around $10 to my order. Every movie i have in my cart is under $8, they'd all be $10+ after tax+shipping. We have 9.25% sales tax here, it's ridiculous.
Hopefully this DAL/MIN game is better than the 2 yesterday.
Yeah they were pretty bad. I got home from work and NO was already up by three scores and I couldn't watch the Colts game because I can't sit through 3 hours of sucking on Peyton's dick. If they make it to the Super Bowl I will probably just end up listening to the game on Westwood One while watching it.

Ya, I usually try to catch all of the playoff games but I shut off the BAL/IND game by halftime last night, because neither the game nor the commentary was worth spending my time watching.

I hope Edge of Darkness ends up being as good as it looks. I really dug the directors cut of Payback and this is totally in that same vein.
Damn, Dexter has cancer.
Wow, that's the same kind that I dealt with a couple of years ago. Good to hear he's doing alright.

Does anyone have a pair of Logitech Z4 speakers, or have an opinion on them? They're $60 at Target and they sounded pretty good.

I want a milkshake. I haven't had one in forever.
I would hit Lady GaGa with the wrath of an angry God.
Is that sexual euphemism or do you actually want to hit her? I'd personally take the latter. Especially if the internets is to be believed about her "lady parts".

It's a euphemism for me banging her without a rubber.

Thanks, playboy.

Lady GaGa is of Italian heritage?

*blood boils with sexual fury*
Did you just compliment my penis?
Well, if you hit it with the wrath of an angry god, I can't help but think that she's not going to be the same afterwards, regardless of the size of your equipment. The sheer force alone would probably cause some remodeling.
