My dumb ass dropped my phone in the toilet last night(flushed thankfully). Anyone know the cheapest way to get a replacement ?

I have the E1 ROKR, which I(used to) proudly listen to the CAGcast on. I'm eligible for an upgrade in Sept., so I'm just trying to get by with a cheap one until then.

ROKR's are still surprisingly high on eBay these days.

Thanks in advance.

You might be close enough where they will make an exception and allow you to upgrade. My phone was stolen and I was still about 4 months away from the upgrade time as well (also cingular, now the new AT&T) but they let me do it. It makes business sense as it keeps me as a customer for two more years anyways.
Cheapest way is to go to any retail store that sells prepaid cingular and buy a $20 phone, pop your sim card in, and you're good to go.
Cool,
I'll try WhoKnowsWho's idea. And the prepaid can get me through till my upgrade kicks in, if all else fails.

Thanks again.
