Anybody know any cell phone plan specials or know any employee codes? Or if not does anybody on these forums know a lot about various cell phone companies and could recommend me a good provider?
In my area we generally have:
Sprint
Alltel
Verizon
AT&T
T Mobile (This is what I'm leaning toward.)
Centennial
I'd like a cell phone plan that has nights starting at 7pm and weekends starting friday nights at 7pm. I use my phone mostly for work at night and on weekends.
I don't know where you are, but here in California T-mobile blows. I think they're on their way out too. As for what service to go with based on price? good luck anywhere...
I get 23% discount on my sprint plan because of employer. Need to identify who has the best coverages in your area first. Then decide who is best price. Best price will be determined by what features you want. I had the everything plan with 2 blackberries for 129.99 - 23%discount. Then recently added 2 family members (mom/dad) and that raised it to 169.99 -23%. So 4 phones with nites @7 & weekends free. Unlimited text and data. For about $130 + taxes/fees. That is a 1500 peak minute plan. If you have more than 1 person sprint is a good deal. Especially if 3 or more. Search around and you can find a company discount that is at least 20% with sprint. I am not going to say whether or not this is right but sprint does not verify employer. I just told the rep in-store my employer and they looked it up and applied the discount. This may be ymmv but I do not believe so.
