Chappelle Theory

Quite a read.

I'm not exactly sure what to think of all that. A lot of it is a bit far-fetched, but some of that is quite possible.

There's plenty of celebrities that certain other celebrities/politicians/etc. would want silenced, that's for sure.

Whether this is true or not, I hope Dave and his family are happy. Dave put a lot of hard work into his show, and even if we never get any more Chappelle's Show out of him (besides those few episodes we'll get from Comedy Central next year), we still have a lot of great work of his to enjoy on DVD.
 
On the one hand i'm going this sounds crazy, but really as crazy as a guy giving up 50 million out of the blue to run to Africa? Very much sounds like the theory could be spot on. Would also explain why during that last interview Chappelle looked straight up terrible like he hadn't been sleeping.
 
Oh, that is such Racist BS. A Cabal of Blacks Keepin' their own down. The very style of it's prose suggest someone with writing experience. An actual Insider would most likely not write like the person who created that web page. It's writen like a work of fiction.

Personally, if I was a Mod I would Lock this post because it's obvously a web site emant to promote racism.

Would anyone accept this if it was about Jews?

Sorry, I call B.S., you'd think as witty as Chappelle is, he'd hire bodyguards with or without his co-workers permission, or atleast have in hand the vodoo doll or pictures where Al Sharpton is next to his sleeping kids! LOL, I can't imagine Al Sharpton, or Oprah Winfrey having nothing else to do than to crawl inside Chappelle's house at night to harrass him! :rofl:

I understand exactly what you are saying. But this is just a joke. If the site is a racist site, it's subtle like motherfucker. And racists usually are not subtle.
 
It sounds fake. However I know of such dirt and fucked up politics as this. People threating you and saying they will harm you. I don't see Al Sharpton being able to sneak in a house. However living about 30 mins from yellow springs where dave lives. I could see it happening. Their is no need for security and all of the houses are old farmhouses. It's a small town full of hippies, and old farmers.

So in theroy one of two things would happen. When al sharpton pulls up their is about a 50/50 shot of him being noticed. But then again it's old farmers and I don't see them noticing someone famous. But in all I think it's fake. All of those people have their money already so why would they care.

I was thinking Neal is one of his "best friends" he writes the show along with Dave so why would they only go after Dave.


But now I'm think to much into this. What if neal betthern or what ever his name is he had an idea for a show however comedy central thought that is was to racist so the needed a African-American to front the show so it would not be racist...

See it's easy to come up with theories and such.

The image, allegedly taped by Winfrey, and transmitted to Chappelle's house under the direction of Robert L. Johnson who called in some favors with Chappelle's local affiliate station manager, terrified Chappelle.

Seriously, comparing a website to a hate crime? Sure, some of this is a bit far fetched (such as the Sharpton photo, the special Oprah broadcast, etc.), but your theory that the person writing this up is a racist is even moreso.

You couldn't imagine that Dave Chappelle would irk a number of activists within the Black community? You know, with his, as he puts it, "racially charged sketches"?
 
Jeez, I started reading and kept thinking when are they going to mention Tupac and Biggie?....once they did, I knew for sure what a load of horse shit this was! Very entertaining though....maybe Mencia will make a skit out of it.
 
Domain is registered to WebLinc, LLC; a commerical web design firm so the real questions are who would pay them to create it and why. Also, each page of that site include javascript code that feeds data to a tracker at OneStat so whoever is doing it is interested in seeing how many hits it receives.

If this even had the least grain of truth...wouldn't the omnipotent dark crusaders have already made it disappear? Especially with the domain registration info being so easily accessible.

At any rate, it's an awful lot of trouble for someone to go through to post all of that. It's definitely well written/edited...doesn't look like some teen's w33dsc4p3. No ads either, which means no money. Whoever made it should make it disappear now. That'd make it a LOT more convincing!

This whole thing read too much like a sappy Hollywood conspiracy movie if you ask me... and I really don't like Chapelle to boot (as his brand of humor isn't my cup of tea).
