Chappelle Theory

Tee-hee; my good pal (and closet racist) bmulligan seems to think this website is for real, as evidenced by his post on the betting forum. Jeez-us!

As for this website, I have this to say: You, good (website creator) are *not* Andy Kaufmann. Please do not try to *be* what you are *not.* Thankyouverymuch.

Interesting, yes.

I don't think it's possible though. The names are just WAY too big... and besides, if people like Bill Cosby and Oprah were making death threats to Chappelle (which they wouldn't) I'm sure it wouldn't be kept quiet long. I think they'd be more outspoken to the public.

Fake as hell, however his conspirator list did make me think of this:

Stuart Mackenzie: Well, it's a well known fact, Sunny Jim, that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentaveret, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows.

Tony Giardino: So who's in this Pentaveret?

Stuart Mackenzie: The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, *and* Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee *beady* eye! And that smug look on his face, "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!"

Charlie: Dad, how can you hate The Colonel?

Sorry to bring back a dead topic, but I was sitting at my computer and I hear the TV in the other room, "Tomorrow on Oprah in his first TV interview since he Mysteriously Disappeared...Dave Chappelle".

I only heard the sound bites, but one of them was oprah in a very serious tone, "Be careful Dave, you're on National TV!"

This thread was the first thing that came to my mind.....

Hmmmm, the conspiracy continues tomorrow on Oprah :D

Yeah, I heard that on the radio this morning and I thought of this too, then I forgot about it like a minute later.
Mr. Macy, has any secret organization ever threatened to censor you?
Why in fact yes they have.

I recall when I was shooting the film "Panic" with the lovely Neve Campbell, there was a mysterious man lurking on the set, watching my every move. I asked the PA what his job was, and he looked at me and said "I don't know." That strange man turned out to be a rep for the Fox network, who was concerned about the way I was looking at Ms. Campbell. He said this kind of thing could be very emotionally disturbing to her, and that that kind of longterm mental damage could really be bad for the number 10 show on television. They told me that if I didn't quit, they'd be forced to blacklist me from any future 20th Century Fox Inc. projects.

2 years later, Party of Five was cancelled due to Neve Campbell's "private problems", and I haven't been in a Fox movie since!

Studios are always trying to bring the Macy down.

real or not, that was totally messed up and darkly entertaining. I think robert anton wilson wrote it. and like wilson's work, it's full of stupid loopholes!

this is by far the best part though:

Now that I read it, from what I understand is a group of famous blacks are trying to keep down Chappele?

:rofl:Mr Macy, you never cease to entertain

Chappelle will air a skit telling in detail all the events leading up to his flight to S. Africa for rest and spiritual renewal. We were basically reading a script of the soon-to-air comeback special.

I can't wait!!!:bouncy:

Chappelle is on Oprah right now talking about what he went thru and talked about that skit he did about having a baby with Oprah.

My wife has Oprah on the DVR every day. This is one I will actually watch.

On Oprah, Dave said he walked away because he started to become concerned about the social irresponsibility of his content .... |=4|^|^4|

This part right here put this conspiracy theory in my "Bullshit" list.

March 5, 2003

Episode seven of Chappelle's Show skewered the Star Wars franchise. It had a bit based around sexual molestation that occurs at the Jedi Academy. A reportedly furious George Lucas, demanded that his secretary place a call to Whoopi Goldberg, a long time friend of Lucas as well as an early benefactor and friend of Chappelle. Lucas wanted her to see if she could get word to Chappelle that he is not amused.

According to Lucas's secretary, it seemed as if Goldberg — like Bill Cosby — did not agree with the message that Chappelle's Show was sending to the African-American youth.

Give me a fucking break... GL calling Whoopi Goldberg?! Please. That guy has the ear of MUCH more powerful people in Hollywood than WG. That bitch is senile. Has anyone seen her recent "standup" show?

"Robert L. Johnson

Bio: Founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET),"

LoL I think that speaks a great deal already ;) House.... Anyone?
I'll reffer to the Boondocks episode where MLK is in a comma and comes back

Obviously, Dave Chappelle thinks he's the most powerful man in America. Besides getting a 2 yr 50 mill deal, he wants half the DVD revenue (which he says will go to people) Is he crazy? Comedy Central wouldn't make crap w/o the DVD sales.

The thing is, there are some black comedians out there who are far more demeaning.
Chappelle just satirizes racial tension and he's equally as hard on white people as he is on blacks. some of his funniest stuff is about white people. "I'm sorry officer, I didn't know I couldn't do that."

He's smart as hell, and there's no reason that anyone with half a brain would try and stop him for fear of "setting back the race."

Martin Lawrence as Big Momma has set it back as far as it could possibly go anyway.
